Those shallow streams are the perfect for herping. Animals are restricted in a small area and you can easily spot them. Very cute musk turtles and very good underwater footage. This alligator snapping turtle was something unexpected. I mostly expect them in big swamps and deeper water. Imposing and strong animal. One of my favorite North American turtles I don’t believe that one eye will affect its survival. It is very tough. it may have lost it in a fight with prey in the past.

Always been wanting to find an alligator snapper while walking creeks, but I might just be a bit too far north. If you don’t mind me asking what river that is, it looks awesome! I’ve seen Greg’s Turtle haven find some in the flint river, so I might check that out, but just curious! Awesome video!

That snapper was amazing....So great to see people who love nature instead of killing nature....Video after yours is Titled " Snapper, catch and cook"....So awful...Would never watch that...Anyway I was wondering if you know if there are any venomous snakes near the Jersey Shore Line?
@Matthew-qk1xi2 жыл бұрын
If you eat meat, you're eating animals. Some prefer eating all natural free range protein, doesn't mean you hate nature or don't appreciate the beauty of animals and their environment.
@teresaHify2 жыл бұрын
@@Matthew-qk1xi Ummmm, Wow, thanks for letting me know if you eat meat you are eating animals,,Had no idea..LOL...The point of my comment was that the video in question was about "enjoyment" of the kill part..and posting it just to get the clicks.....I certainly understand people hunt and eat the meat to enjoy, but no need to "hunt" and post the love of killing.....That was my point......BTW I don't eat meat....LOL

@@teresaHify yeah wow, don't take it so personal, I wasn't attacking you or trying to hurt your feelings. Yeah I eat meat you can't grill it till you kill it.
