Wow, I did the exact same thing with my fall garden bed to cover my vegetable seedlings. I used sticks, insect netting, and bricks 😊

Wow, that’s amazing. They say great minds think alike. Being unwilling to spray my vegetables, the insect netting is my lifeline when it comes to protecting my leafy greens. Thanks for commenting.

@@RootHealthyPlants exactly, I myself am not willing to spray any chemicals or harmful pesticides. I will do what it takes to protect my babies naturally. Happy gardening and thanks for all the videos. Keep them coming 👍🏾

I appreciate you subscribing. Thank you for letting me know where you are commenting from. I love to hear of all that gardening that you are doing. I like the rule of thumb, grow what you eat. My wife like to deal with the dandelion. I know the whole plant is edible. Root for teas. Leaves and flowers are additions or supplements in salads. We have a lots of dandelion growing on the property. I admit that I don’t always eat the dandelion. When I’m doing my weed pulling they usually get grouped in with the rest of my weeds and thrown on my tarp to be dried out for composting. I’ll keep the content coming. I appreciate your comment.

I did something like that yesterday with my seedling they didn't look like they were going anywhere so I ended up planting them out pretty early which is not the norm for me to Plant my Seedling out .but I hope it works out.

I hope your plants grow🤞. I’ve run into similar issues before. My solution was having the plants in a more nutrient rich growing medium. I’ve also had plants that were stunted because the temperature was too cold or hot. Also, when growing indoors having the proper lighting and right distance away from your plants, may cause that. Thank you for watching and commenting.

My spinach seeds are slso doing nothing either. Will try again. Maybe it was still too hot. But they are started in the house under grow lights.

Yes, the temperature definitely matters. More of my spinach germinated days later. I also forgot to date my seeds so they may be numerous years old and ,therefore, might explain the lower germination rate. My best germination happens in my basement where it is temperature controlled and using heat mats. I like to make sure I’m between 70-85 degrees in temperature/soil temperature for optimal germination. Lights work great but I’ve learned that the distance and intensity of the light really matters. I don’t use lights “specifically made” for growing. My light system works great for soil and hydroponic gardens. Good luck with your spinach. Thank you for commenting.
