Autumn is in the air, the days are getting shorter and cooler. Today I'm setting the stage for an enjoyable change of season for our family and friends. So much starts in our imagination when we think about hot apple cider, changing leaves, corn mazes and harvest festivals. Choosing to jump in with both feet (by starting with one thing) can get us off to an early start to create the season we dream it to be! 🍁

My youngest daughter films - which didn’t help since were all grieving. Suddenly - its getting harder with my birthday and the holidays coming. Oh my goodness! Those are such pretty (& different) styles of pumpkins. I didnt think of doing that. I love what you did with all the Fall decor. I am a Traditional Catholic. We celebrate " All Souls & All Saints days. ( Holy)The children dress up as their favorite saints. We dont do secular pagan type Halloween. I suppose my prayer life has helped me through so many things. One thing I try to remember. Emotions are fleeting. Never make major decisions based on emotions. First viewer...😀 Thank you for the holiday pep talk. Fall is my favorite season! Yes, it leads us right into the Christmas holidays. I lost my husband to cancer last fall. I will be moving from my home of the past 12 years and into a new home in the next few weeks so decorating may be hit or miss. I really enjoyed seeing how beautifully decorated your home will be for the coming season.

I also really appreciate your heartfelt thoughts on using the home environment as a way to help facilitate happiness and I couldn't agree more! Fall and Winter are times of year I really look forward to, for me it's time to kind of hibernate, be more introspective and try to create a relaxing and nurturing environment. The parenting advice I was given was to enjoy it while it lasts, which I found difficult when my four children were younger. How they were right! I enjoy my family so much but I want to also find joy while in traffic, in long lines, or with difficult people. There is so much to be thankful for and I want joy not only for myself, but for everyone I come in contact with. Wishing you a very joyful season!
