Hi Lisa! So glad to see you as we all need inspiration, love, and motivation to be our best selves. Seeing God’s Hand in everything that He provides and believing He has a plan for my life is so remarkable and assuring. When life gets tough and it does, relying on His direction and comfort keeps me going. I love gardening, the light of the day, and seeing beauty in flowers and plants. Wearing dresses in the warm weather is something I will try as you always look feminine and comfortable in them. I love pretty and until a friend told me that there’s nothing to be ashamed about, I often felt guilty about decorating and serving food in an attractive way. Listening to other people’s wisdom as they travel through illnesses, lack of time and disappointments helps me to learn. “One day at a time” from a man going through incurable blood cancer with a cheerful attitude and a very busy doctor who said “we all need to make intentional time to do some of the important things even if for only 15 minutes. So many thoughts you brought to mind today. Thank you Lisa!

I love all your thoughts and ideas shared here Janice! It’s so true that suffering can be an ironic catapult into wisdom that enhances life’s blessings and joy. And how fascinating that we pick up ideas of “wrongness” just because someone believed it to be true. Glad to hear you are blossoming into your true self and enjoying your gifts! And no doubt spilling over and blessing all those in your life. 💝

Hello, Lisa! A newer channel subscriber and love it! Enjoyed this video and a good chat it was. You look great. Relaxed, rested and speaking from the heart. These last few weeks indeed were a feeling of being drained of energy and overwhelmed, but taking time for ourselves in this busy and chaotic world is of upmost need. I feel that driving can make one feel like they need to step away, relax in a cozy nook upon coming back home, meditate and rejuvenate. Staying well hydrated and rested helps me and also to practice breath work, to limit errands, noise, electronic use, no drama, to spend time with those we love and that harness our journey, to come home to a cozy, beautiful, tidy home and space, (soft linens and pillows help) and to make time to enjoy time out with others and have fun! It is the feminine to just be. Blessings! 💕

I’m going through a lot of anxiety right now and I seriously need a chocolate intervention. I’m gobbling handfuls of Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips; sometimes mixed with peanuts! I love fruits and vegetables and all the things that are good for you but I keep reaching for the chocolate and sometimes crunchy tortilla chips. I’m trying to get motivated to get back into shape. I’ll walk and do yard work but then I ruin it with the junk 🥺Thank you for this video! I feel a lot more inspired to do better for myself💕

Hi! I hear you Janie, I go for the same things. Emotional eating is real - for sure - but sometimes we also just need fat and protein to supplement the fruit and vegetables. I’ve also learned to have my biggest meal when I’m most hungry, which is lunch! I fought myself on that for years, thinking something was wrong with me!! If I don’t have that meal then I’ll find quick ways to get the calories in. Just sharing from my own experiences hoping it may spark new ways of looking at “gobbling”. 🩷

Even though I’m retired, I set the alarm, not at 6am like when I was working, but between 7:30 and 8:00am, so I get up everyday and get going. I leave the house everyday, taking a walk, running errands, meeting friends, it doesn’t matter, just up and out. This allows me to have a routine, and getting up and out, really does help my mood and at the end of the day, I sleep much better which helps everything ❤

Boy did I need to see this today. I am now retired 7 years and live alone. Family are a plane ride away. I find I have become addicted to my laptop, following bloggers and coffee (or coffee cream, I can't tell). I open it in the morning to check my banking and email...then before you know it , I am on my 4th cup of coffee and its 11 am and I am still in my PJ's!!!!!! I have got to get out and start moving!!!! Its really been weighing on my mind lately . Its so hard to get yourself motivated!!! I hope I get up in the morning , put on my sneakers, and take a walk!!!!!!

Hi 🩷 Now that we’re chatting way down the thread, your comments have me thinking about 3 things: 1. How to transition into a whole new way of being when life changes dramatically 2. Developing skills that support fueling our tank properly to feel genuinely motivated 3. Steps to get the engine in gear moving in a forward direction. I need to buy a camera that can support the length of conversation I want to have with my dear friend Dr. Mike, among other brilliant minds. But I would ask you too, bright as you are Liane! Sometimes it’s the questions that resonate most. 🩷

@@lisaemeterio how to motivate yourself when there is no one to applaud your efforts, compliment you when you look nice, share in your goals, no partner to impress or get positive feedback for your efforts. So, at night , you eat something comforting. I know its no excuse, but its my reality.

Good morning Mary! So good to hear from you Beautiful! Those nasty old voices that live in our head need to bug off! “The Four Agreements” is a wonderful little book that can put those voices in perspective. When we’re young we’re so impressionable and we believe everyone is telling the truth. But divine truth is the truth! There are so many wonderful people in the world who care a lot for each other and humanity and you are one of them! Facts. Have a beautiful day! 💝

Lisa? This was excellent and I’ll be listening to it more than once on my AirPods as I steam clean my bathtub and marble around it. I want it not only clean as usual but super shiny and glistening and I’m also going to polish it so it’s catching light! I don’t know If I’m going nuts or what, but I can tell it’s not the same. So I’ll take a before and after so I can prove to myself I made a difference and have that little slice of my life where I need it to be to relax and go to bed in time. In the summer, I love to bathe and smother lavender oil all over and spray it on my sheets. I’ve also discovered new plants that take very little light who will find a home in there. New towels, new pictures, probably new paint and I’m thinking a little lamp. I used my DuPray Steamer for the first time on the grout on my tumbler tile and it was so great! If you don’t have one yet, you might check into it because of your stone babies who might want a steam bath in your porto from time to time. I’m invigorated! Thank you! Your words shared are catalyzing action. Good to see you back! More Coaching

Dear Nancy!! I want to be in Your bathroom! I can practically smell the lavender and feel those towels. Love hearing your joy and excitement in creating your beautiful space! You might have the value of “mastery”. It means that whatever you do you want to do it to the highest degree, AND the journey and process is satisfying unto itself! Of course once we master one thing we’re looking for the next thing. And we never fully arrive because there are endless things to learn and master! Just some thoughts. 💝 I’m going to check out the grout steamer. Thank you!! 🙏🏻

@@lisaemeterio oh it’s coming along just fine. You really have to check out the DuPray. It’s very powerful but great for home projects and cars too, endless. Hope you get one. Yes, the caulk came out beautiful and the grout looks so clean as well as the tile and marble. So I’m going to keep at it today, lots of detail cleaning in the bathroom as well. It helps to take pictures of your room as you go along and the view from the lens shows you things that your brain bypassed with personal site. But you really hit the sweet spot with me when I saw your video. When I’m done, I’m going to do the deep dive. I have a son and his girlfriend coming in from out of state. I get the repressed indulgence theory though. It’s expressed in so many little ways until we are completely blocked from getting to the things that make us feel good, and those are usually the constructive components of our personalities. It’s almost as if we unintentionally build a dam that holds back our desires or what we want to get done. I think it’s important to at least allow our curiosities to dip into what we want to do, if not just for a little while to recognize parts of ourselves again.

I like to always take time to do something special for myself and do something that I really enjoy for example. I went to have breakfast by myself the other day or I go workout, I also like to take my time vintage window shopping. Not necessarily to purchase anything but to get ideas and inspiration. I think taking the time to enjoy the things you love and allowing yourself time just to refresh our minds is important. I'm going to try the values assessment to see exactly who I am.
