Bats by the fireplace always gives me 90s Jumanji vibes and I love it!! Also this is like my 3rd attempt at finishing this video but it’s totally my 4 boys 😅 homeschooling 2 of them while breastfeeding an infant and keeping a toddler from nagging the other two is difficult. Youre one of my favorite KZbinrs that gives me something to look forward to when I take a break! You’re doing great!

Yes they are! I get so paranoid in the winter months when we use our fireplace that a bat is going to come in 😂 every night I triple check to make sure the glass barrier is closed lol! I always have bats on the brain😅😂🦇

Your decor with the floras are so pretty. @8?3 option 2 with the vase in you’re living room and the ghost pillow blends in so nicely. & yes bats decor is so fun. Hey Lauren, my go to for fall is always neutrals and burgundy. I never use orange, i do use copper and like a rusty brown though. My point is, i love all the burgundy you used but i have to say those orange floral leaves beside the chair did look really good too, i don't think you can go wrong either way! I haven't decorated for Halloween since my kids were little and i did the cutesy stuff. For the past 2 Halloweens though I've been drawn to the black acedemia but something didn't feel exactly like me and i started watching some videos and i think I'm more drawn to like a "Practical Magic" esthetic with a little fairy decor. So the old books, candles, dried florals, vintage apothecary bottles, spider web, spiders, the bats, a spell book and maybe even a skeleton or two! By the way where did you get your spiders that stick to the creepy cloth or did you tape them? Glad yall are ok from the storm!

Oh my goodness that decor aesthetic sounds amazing!! Did you end up doing it? I would love to see pics if so! The best part is I bet you could find alot of things at thrift stores to fit that style! And the spiders were from Target last year :) they don’t have any stick to them but since they have glitter, their legs are rough and sort of get stuck on to the web naturally!❤️ thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment!!

@@LaurenMidgley girl, I just figured out the style I want to do from watching videos from last year and a few this year. I I am starting it this year, I bought several crows and some Jack o lanterns (PB style) which both I forgot to mention…. lol. I’m going to start collecting the bottles and books as I find them. I’ve been trying to collect vintage books with that good patina for several years though, without tons of luck. So it drive be a style I can accomplish over night but hopefully I can get there. I actually thought about going thrift books and trying to paint them and then sending them to distress them. I’ve never seen it done though!

Yes! I know where all those girls live and I believe all their areas were okay!❤️ it was the western part of NC that got hit so hard 😖 I really did not think it would affect North Carolina like that so I don’t think a lot of ppl were prepared. So so sad!!
