Hello spooky friends, welcome to my Fall Decorating and Cozy Crafting Spooky & DIY Decor! Happy September! It was finally that time of the year where I get to share my fall decorate with me video! If you've been here for a while, then you know how much I love crafting and creating budget friendly decor for the holidays! In this video you can expect lots of fall and spooky decorating, a trip to our local thrift store & dollar store to find budget friendly decorations and of course lots of crafting! I was able to decorate a few spaces in my space and I am excited to continue to share other areas in my space that I will decorate in future videos! I feel what you are saying. I moved back in to my mom's house so that I can reach some goals. I really crave decorating my little Casita but all I have is my bedroom. I love a good DIY bargain. Seasonal decorations can be so pricey. I always opt to create my own decor from bargain materials. Unless I really want something full price then I’ll buy it lol The weather today here is in the high 90s , I’m so ready to for this heat to be done and gone 😅

I just found your channel & it was meant to be. I too am in California & my husband, kids & I moved in with his parents about a year and a half ago due to a tree falling on our house leaving it unsafe to live in. It is being demolished and it may be awhile before we have a new home. I am a maximalist, over the top decorator for all holidays/seasons. I have seasonal boutiques at my home and a FB page dedicated to decor/diy's & my floral business. Not having my own space has been so much harder than I could have imagined. Even down to my daily routines have had to change. I know exactly how you feel. I have been a Halloween/fall person my whole life and we're in a home where that isn't really welcomed. I've added a few things to the room we have, but it's not the same. I had even wanted to start a decorating channel on YT and was actively getting ready for my first video when we lost our house. I really needed to hear what you said about enjoying where I am now. I've been struggling. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It definitely impacted me. Also, I've been doing the protein coffee too and love it!! (Sorry I wrote you a book 😬)

I completely understand how it feels to be someone who loves to decorate and create an ambient environment and feel like you don’t have the place to do that. I’ve truly learned over the last few months to love what I have now and make the best of my current situation. It has helped so much to bask in the present moment. I hope you give yourself the opportunity to start that YT channel and not feel discouraged by your current living situation. Hi Kimberly, your channel popped up on my page so your algorithm is working! I’m from Washington State the lower right of the upper left as I like to say. I absolutely love your story I love that you shared your story your thoughts and your goals. I really feel your situation is a lot more normal than most people realize. It’s hard these days to save up to buy a house of your own and really some of us are lucky we can move back in with our parents to be able to do that so thank you for sharing and allowing Me to feel more normal about my own situation. I’m 50 single my only son moved to the big city here in our state with his love to go start their life together I’m so proud of them so my 74 yr old mom and I rented a house together so we too could save up for our dream of some land and tiny houses and now my older sister is planning on moving home from TX to join in on that journey. Anyway just wanted to share my story in hopes it allows you to feel even more comfortable with your Now. I love your style your creativity I would have never thought of the things you came up with So Clever the casket terrarium and bat garland my fav AND the skull I recently discovered dark academia and am in Love with the esthetic. I also love the way you style the pieces allowing each one to shine in its own way and your book collection OMG to die for! Now I must go to the dollar store and start on my Halloween decor they have so many good things this year. I hope you share more I’m subscribed now so I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with next. With this economy, I feel like more and more folks are realizing that living more sustainable and affordable, can look like having land and smaller sized homes. I definitely thought you'd be turning those little glass flasks into terrariums too haha, you've inspired me to DIY this season since I don't really have the budget to go shopping. I haven't been to a TJ Maxx or home goods this season and it makes me so sad cause I know I'll be tempted to buy all their spooky stuff lol. Hi Daniela! I am so excited about how everything I DIYd came out! I’m on a budget so I really want to be conscious about what I decide to buy full price and what I’m willing just to DIY. lol plus it’s always fun to craft things for me! ☺️ glad to hear that the message in the video resonated. It’s been a big theme for me this year and really felt called to sharing that message with everyone 🫶🏼 Ok so Agatha Christie’s Halloween Party - Haunting in Venice movie, I haven’t read the book so I’m not sure how much was actually adapted from the book or if things were left out for the movie. But I truly enjoyed the vibes of the book. The aesthetic is something up my alley and I enjoyed the mysticism & setting. However I feel like the plot was too predictable at least for me. lol I think halfway through the movie I was able to tell it was the mom all along. 😅 I feel like the motive behind the murder was rather sour. Also, I didn’t like that they killed off Joyce - the psychic medium. (Again not sure if this also happened in the book) but I wish more of the magic was played into it and not everything actually figured out like it was in the end. I like it when we are left wondering if truly it was a magical or paranormal presence but this story line felt like everything was figured out at the end and no room for wonder lol Again, this might be how the book was but that was my take on the movie itself. 😅

The book was not predictable, at least not for me, I had fun trying to figure out who it was :) I’ll say the movie is very loosely inspired by the book!
