I too am from Tejas but I lived in NYC for years and the best thing (one of the best things) is the 4 seasons in NYC. The fall is the BEST!!!! You get to wear cashmere and layer. I heard that Colorado also gets 4 seasons. Texas Proud!!! Love your vibe and wish you continued success!!! Great content. I dig how you and Rene work so well together. i never care to reply to backwards comments like this but i will say this, this comment is the reason people are discouraged to go to church. nothing about what i did was disrespectful, if it bothers you personally then that's different. I go for my time with God and accept everyone in that space especially exactly as they are. The judgement you put on others is much more disrespectful than my long shorts.

Perhaps that's an automatic action to take to lessen your fault of absent responsibility. This isn’t me “coming at” you, but this comment hasn’t been sitting well with me since I first saw it and I’m hoping you’ll be open to some of my feedback: You’re not wrong about the dress code policy, but I think this might be a good learning experience for us all to come from a place of curiosity, compassion, and respect when we engage with creators. Rewording comments to sound less judgmental. Something like, “I was always told that wearing shorts or short skirts or anything ‘skin-baring’ was considered inappropriate for church. I’m curious if there was anyone in your church who had issues with what you wore.” Asking for permission before providing feedback. I noticed some of your other comments had the same tone and here might be another example of how to reframe our wording. Something like, “I noticed you only bought one oven mitt. Would you be open for me sharing my concern as to why I think you should’ve bought two?” I often find that when I’m following an account that sometimes doesn’t jive with my beliefs or ideas or stresses me out that I should sit with my feelings and figure out why I’m taking issues with what the creator is posting, or decide if I’m not the right audience and unfollow. Thanks for reading and allowing for an open discussion on how we can maybe all do better to lead and live with compassion and curiosity, especially with strangers on the internet.
