i would never consider any of these to be "staple pieces". maybe they are in LA w hi class ppl but how are those dresses in any way staple pieces??? oh i think i'll just slip on this black dress and go to the store, or it's a bit chilly i'll grab my 130 hoodie to go for walk. the only semi staple piece which was still way overpriced was the black t & jeans. that color lock dress was hideous even on jinger who can pull off anything. it looked boxy and awkward and uncomfortable. and the purse looked like one from the 80s. who changes out their purses just to run out for errands?? in a dress and boots no less. how are these staple pieces??

Oh, there’s plenty out here! Just that in the past 5+ years, prices have been inflated more. It’s trendy to thrift & buy “vintage” clothing & these shops know this, especially in southern CA.

⁠Hi everyone. For reference, their house is not a mansion nor on property. This is CA and yes, in Los Angeles county. We live here also. Their neighborhood is a typical one for southern CA. Even before interest rates shot up, when we bought our ‘new to us’ home out here 6 years ago, we were lucky to find anything below approx. $650,000. That’s for 1700 sqft in a nice, established neighborhood with back yards & driveways! (I say that as newer home building the last 8 or so years has trended to this for the builders to save money. Homes that look more like condos with attached garages. Located not on a street but clustered facing each other.) Unless you find a complete fixer-upper OR willing to live &/or commute in LA traffic at least 2+ hours away from your job or major cities, this is just the way life is out here. Not saying it’s right & yes everything is overpriced, but if you have your job/livelihood out here there is not much of a choice. Many can not just pick up & move out of state. Renting is just as bad considering the average is $2000+ or more/month depending on size & location. I hope this gives anyone a better idea of the areas/housing out here in L.A. County.

The former speech teacher in me would encourage you to practice not saying filler words “like, and um, um” especially if you want to take your public speaking to the next level. A natural pause is perfect. It gives you a break to find your words and you sound more eloquent. ❤

I really enjoy your vlogs especially of late, yet this video left me underwhelmed. Clothing items and styles from TARGET and Walmart are cuter and better styled than these overpriced and unattractive items. Note to viewers, not all overpriced and expensive clothing looks good on everyone. The two-toned sweater dress for example looked oversized on Jinger’s frame; the small handbag was not practical and not cute; the white boots should never be worn by anyone and the first dress mimicked spiderwebs. Jinger, you should try to do Target hauls or from places your viewers are more apt to shop from

I think that's a great idea. Doing clothing hauls from places that most ppl can afford would be way better. These clothing hauls are for the rich and famous, who tend not to care how they look as long as whatever they are wearing has a designer label. Haha. And quite frankly, I don't know one person that would ever feel good paying 129 dollars for a hoodie. 🤯

totally agree w you! not all of us have the $ she does now or live in LA. i'd like some more normal less dressy and affordable options too like target & walmart which have plenty of options which suit more ppl & circumstances! i love jinger she's one of my fave duggars if not my fave. seems like such a kind & humble person no matter how her life has changed. she's a sweetheart & good mom & obviously very driven to write a book on top of all her other responsibilities. so proud & happy for all you've been thru & the person you've evolved to be-genuine & honest & down to earth. you're so beautiful! you've changed so much since you were courting jeremy i remember you w your dark curly hair (was it a perm?) and heavy makeup . you def can pull off the natural look and no makeup & any hair style or color looks good on you. do you work out a lot? i'd love to have you do tutorials/blogs on hair & makeup, skin care, diet, & exercise, as well as organization bc you seem to be skilled in that!!! thx for all the ideas-just wish they weeent all so hi end & dressy looking & more casual down to earth & affordable for us midwesterners. lol

I always enjoy Jinger's content but these hauls are really screaming that you are desperate for sponsors. You always ranted about thrifting and finding deals and now you are promoting $100 hoodies & $100+ basic dresses??? I don't believe for a minute that you would ever pay that much for these clothes and remember when you paid $100+ for a jacket at a Boutique store and that was such a big deal to you.
