I must say I was surprised and disappointed that you and your husband validated this series. First off, I also grow up in a IBLP family whose focus was extremely works based. That saying, I understand your feeling about being raised in a family that focused on rules. This however, is not a belief isolated to ATI families. Let me explain why I am so sad that you would validate a series such as Shinny Happy People. This series is produced by a group of people who do not believe the Bible is Gods word. Their goal is to create a premise or mindset of cynicism towards all who believe or follow God’s word. They clearly are promoting the idea that all people groups who believe in the existence of God are ignorant and laughable fools. In the Shinny Happy People series, the producers set out to villainize all Christians who believe the Bible and follow Christ, not just ATI families. Understand this series is not about exposing false teaching, the world could care less about that, it is about destroying the credibility of Christianity. When you validate the series, you are unwittingly validating the purpose of the producers of Shinny Happy People. I don’t believe this is your desire as you stated in your Vlog post. But because you are, in a since, a celebrity, most people will believe your validation without question. This series throws out so many accusations which are never backed up with real proof. The research is not available to validate any of the series’ alleged information as fact. For instance, there is no proof to show that ATI families are more likely to raise children who are sexual predators, yet this is exactly what the series states. Also, the series causes people to believe that IBLP was a racist group. This is absolutely false. There were so many ethnic groups involved in ATI and all groups had equal right and respect. I am also disappointed to see that you throw out so many labels and never give the definitions, and how the people/or person in question lines up with the defined definitions. The scripture teaches us that we must be careful to make sure we are not just throwing out accusations, but are being honest about finding the truth. It is way too easy to just blame without searching out a matter completely and thoroughly. I hope and pray that your will consider what God thinks about supporting Shinny Happy People and validating the series.

I had this once after I saw the show it was good but the next time I baked the tater tots until they were a bit crunchy seasoned the beef really well with onions bell peppers a little seasoned salt onion and garlic powder then used cream of garlic and celery soups with fresh sharp cheddar cheese on top that made all the difference and until your show I never saw anyone mom no friends cousin or family ever made that dish it’s great and tasty and very rich. 🙏🏾😋

They always have something cooking on the stove, as much as you try to cook the same dishes it's never the same as Nonnas. Learn her tips but be prepared you will make an amazing dish but never the same as Nonnas (I don't know what they keep a secret) When Jeremy showed me what was on the stove it reminded me of my childhood and my daily life always trying to replicate the meal. Religion has been a tool to control the masses. If you think there is a higher being that is watching you and you have to be accountable to then you will behave in a certain way. I live between Siloam Springs and Tontitown. We were basically neighbors. I used to take up for your family when the show was on, because I grew up with a lot of the same principles, but I did not realize how stifling this cult was. They take enough of God‘s word to make it look legit. I can see how someone who is struggling in life, and is young, cook it taken in by that. We all need a sense of belonging. As weird as it may seem, I kind of feel a little guilt, but I did not see it, and do something about it. Of course there was nothing I could do! I know that in my head. I just hated it when left-wing people would make fun of your parents having so many kids because they felt like kids were blessings from God. They would make fun of your belief, but could not stand it if someone didn’t agree with their lifestyle, like transgender women using female bathrooms. That is a big can of worms! There may be legitimate transgendered women, but all I know that all it takes is for a pedophile to slap on a wig, and say they identify as a woman, to be intimate with young girls. There is no easy answer. I remember your folks were the first ones to take us on transgender women using women’s bathrooms. I wish they would just get rid of gender, bathrooms and single stall bathrooms. I don’t even like sharing a restroom with other women. I remember one time we were at marketplace Grill. I was in the bathroom and I heard this voice that was absolutely, undeniably your mom, she had three or four little girls in the stall with her. I hurried out because I didn’t want to act like I didn’t recognize her, but I didn’t want to act like I recognize her lol they were taking their family to eat, they don’t need someone saying, oh Michelle Duggar, blah blah blah
