Omg. Thank you so much for mentioning me. That sweater top that I made is so so simple too. It’s a great quick make and will make a nice scrap buster. I can’t wait to pick up some new Simplicity patterns this week. Great video.

Great video. I prefer the ones featured in the middle to the end as they are a bit more fitted. The puffy sleeve heads are hard to get used to...You look great in the royal blue and the two green tops! Nice of u to take time to inspire us with other sewists. And..the pattern sale @Joanne's.

I always enjoy your vlogs. This one was especially good. Love that you inspired us with pics of many other sexists. That is brilliant, it shows how awesome the sewing community is, I love when all you sewists work with each other and support one another. Thank you!

Hi thank you for the inspiration, can you possible show how to omit that front seam please , I also have this pattern and not crazy about that front seam ,thank you ❤
@SimplyDelilah2 жыл бұрын
Yes just cut it on the fold of your fabric...just like how a different pattern would say "cut on fold". hope that makes sense.

I’ve made the 9017 top - the instructions for the neck didn’t make any sense to me and the garment is super slim at the hips. Oh and the sleeves are so long, even for a long-armed person like me! It’s a cool design but needs modifications.

Oh no! i will keep all that in mind! Thank you!

Beautiful clothes, thanks. I just started sewing n my shoulders are killing me.. Do ever get sore shoulder and back aches, n what do u do for it? Please advice. 😢
@SimplyDelilah2 жыл бұрын
oh man I need to bring this up in a video ...i started sewing quilts and it has taken a toll on my neck...with sewing clothes its not so bad because i'm up and moving but here is my advice...you need to get up and do stretches..it probably sounds like common sense...maybe you are tense because you don't want to make a mistake...that is how I feel everytime i sit down to quilt my neck kinks up so I set a timer and make sure I get up after 10 minutes and I actually do jumping jacks and stretches...I also have a posture corrector that I wear that i purchased from Amazon...oh this would be a good idea for a video..i will make one soon. thank you for the idea.

Its an ergonomic issue. Pay attention to tensed muscles while you are doing a task. Also, if you aren't engaging the muscle but have Your hand or arm at attention waiting to do something, like throw yarn over a needle to make a stitch, that is a setup for a spasm. Believe i get them all the time stiff neck then goes into my shoulder blade with a spasm. Either rest or use the muscles, frequent breaks and movements that oppose the posture you use to do a task.
