I really do appreciate your styling tips. The outfits are often some I'm interested in enough to go look up the products. But coming from a lower middle class with limited wardrobe funds, I more often than not will move on in disappointment. I, and probably many others, would really appreciate a series for a limited budget. Sort of a 'buy this, not that ' sort of offering. But I do thank you for your classy and modest approach.

Great video! I'm a big fan of scarves too. I usually dress monochromatically and a couple of scarves can change the look up nicely. Also, they are great vacation gifts that take little space in my luggage. I bought a raspberry pashmina in Paris on the only rainy day we had. Every time I wear it, I think of Paris. Who doesn't like that? ❤

Last week I flew from Catania, Sicily, to Edinburgh, Scotland. From 32°C to 12°C and rain. I wore apricot colour long linen pants, which worked both ends. Carried a caramel colour suede jacket and an umbrella. On to the north of England - 5 days of rain - wearing a navy raincoat over orchid sweatpants, and ankle boots. In the South of England, linen shorts, t-shirts and sandals. Back with the long linen pants; on arrival in Sicily, the suede jacket rolled up in my bag

I dress up to travel period. The cut and fabrics of clothes now can be comfortable and dressy. One of the reasons I dress up to travel is I get treated better by everyone on the plane, ticket counter, any service because I made the effort- get upgraded on a plane.

I had to chuckle about your spiked heel comment about getting caught in the moving sidewalk. I used to do a lot of business travel and always traveled in spiked heels because I had to go to work as soon as I got off the plane. But when I was young and dating in Boston, I would get those spiked heels caught in the cobblestones or bricks or metal grates in the ground. I finally learned my lesson after years of ruining my heels. So, I started wearing block heels into Boston. Well, the last time I was in Boston, I saw a pretty young thing in her 20's on a date and she had on Louboutin heels, and wouldn't you know it when we were walking out of the ballet, she got her heel stuck in the metal grate. Her boyfriend had to bend down and with much difficulty pull it out for her. Rookie move, in Boston. Poor thing, she probably ruined those beautiful shoes. Thank you, Kay, those were great outfit ideas.

Of course scarves are always in fashion - think of scarves by Hermes , Schiaparelli , etc. - classic & collectible ! Less expensive silk scarves in designs & colors that are similar can be just as nice & can become your own classics too . Also love classic Burberry scarves , the real thing or similar , in wool / wool blend . 🥰

We lived in Springfield NY. Western NY. It was about 45 minutes from Niagara Falls. If you are anywhere near there you will love the Falls.❤ What a mighty force of water. If you can go over to Canada. There is a fantastic village called "Niagara On The Lakes" It is a great European Village. Be sure to take your passport. You will need it. @@DressedforMyDaywithKayHarms Ah. Some lakes and little towns are more special than others. Presumably you'll catch a good one, and if not, you won't have to go far to get in on the fun. Our favorite is Keuka Lake for the hiking, the wineries, farmer's stands, etc. Some of the Finger Lakes take you back a generation or so! We think that's a good thing!

When I toured those places I wore comfortable pants and shirts. Just pull yourself together nicely, but wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Or you could wear a pretty but comfortable dress with sneakers. That’s what ALL the women were wearing in London.

I wore the navy silk long dress to a formal wedding. Used the navy short-sleeved notch collar blouse as a jacket. Was perfect and both pieces work well on their own. The tailoring is fully enclosed seams, very impressive quality

I don’t plan on going anywhere this fall. People are coming here to visit with us. But I still like to look nice, weather appropriate. It’s bound to cool off here in Georgia soon. It was great yesterday and today. So I hope it stays. Someday I’m going to break down and buy the Spanx. And I’ll probably kick myself for not buying them sooner. Maybe next year we can go somewhere. We both broke a tooth, mine is right in front. My husband is close to the front. So we’re both going to dental appointments. And will be getting partials. I’ve never had one. My husband has had his for years and it was falling apart. So that’s were our money is going this fall.

All the outfits are well thought out and put-together. I often wear a dress while travelling, because it is more comfortable than pants with a waistband. But oh my goodness: the bright floral top with the cropped pants? I'm sorry, but this look is not at all flattering.
