I have the $15 Baitcaster out for more Fall Bass Fishing. A lipless crankbait in a shad pattern is what I am throwing today. As fall tries to set in, the bass in my lake will start looking for shad to feed on. As the shad come more and more shallow, I have a chance at catching those feeding bass. The Red Eyed Shad I am using has no rattle. It is a silent lipless crankbait. If you have open water where you suspect bass are feeding on shad, try it. I manage to catch 5 bass at a couple different fishing spots. That makes 10 bass on the $15 baitcast reel so far. For trying different lures, just to get a feel for them and maybe catch a few bass, it's a great learning opportunity at $15 dollars.
