Fall Fishing With a Lipless Crankbait - More $15 Baitcaster Bass

I have the $15 Baitcaster out for more Fall Bass Fishing. A lipless crankbait in a shad pattern is what I am throwing today. As fall tries to set in, the bass in my lake will start looking for shad to feed on. As the shad come more and more shallow, I have a chance at catching those feeding bass. The Red Eyed Shad I am using has no rattle. It is a silent lipless crankbait. If you have open water where you suspect bass are feeding on shad, try it. I manage to catch 5 bass at a couple different fishing spots. That makes 10 bass on the $15 baitcast reel so far. For trying different lures, just to get a feel for them and maybe catch a few bass, it's a great learning opportunity at $15 dollars.

Great video! I'm sure some people don't understand that picking 1 single lure or type of bait to use in a video and to catch 5 bass with it on video is not always an easy feat!

You're probably the most patient fisherman I've ever seen, even though you caught 5 and that's an awesome day, I would have changed baits 9000 times. Keep doing what you do bro! Your videos are awesome.

I am very pleasantly surprised that $15.00 baitcaster is holding up so well. I'm looking forward to using lipless, and other crankbaits, but presently, all my fishing holes are well covered with types of grass, weeds, and pads. So I'm still enjoying frogging, worming, and Texas rigging creature baits. I'll get back to crankbaits when the grass, weeds and pads die off, and before they grow to the water surface. Keep up the Realistic Fishing, catching smaller ones makes one really appreciate an occasional big one, especially shore bound anglers.

hey man just subbed, like the casual fishing vids and i also notice you like switching up the baits for your videos, since it is now fall i recommend you should try the NED rig! Get some Ned rig baits with a jig head, or a 3 inch senko, or you can cut down a 4 inch senko, its a great fall bait and also a very good bait for when the fish are finicky.

My favorite lipless but I prefer the sexy shad color. Might try the 2 tap version sometime, has a unique sound that the fish will hit when then don't want the Rat L Traps. Have you ever tried the palonar knot? I grew up using the improved clinch but switched over a few years ago. Faster to tie and seems to be stronger.

I bet that first bass was hiding underneath the dock, I have luck dropping a small jig or earthworm off the side of docks and landing some fish. Small, but better than nothing. Haven't been out fishing in months, itching to get out again. There's just not a lot of bass fishing places down south with shore access. Got a new truck though, so need to give that thing a spin. I'll probably head up the mountain soon and catch some trout. GOD BLESS me for not wetting my hands before I touch the trout! Those fuckers die so easily, I'm sure you see my comments on your trout videos sticking up for you against the trout saints. "WET YOUR GOD DAMN HANDS" bullshit.
@RealisticFishing
@RealisticFishing 6 жыл бұрын
Those people just like telling other people what to do. Not one of them can prove that trout die if you don't wet your hands. I can however, find proof that the slime is regenerated over time. 😂
@dylant4737
@dylant4737 6 жыл бұрын
This pond I'm going to is pure proof that trout can live with being mishandled. This small pond is flooded with tourists and kids fishing, all of them use powerbait, spinners, marshmallows, and worms to catch these stocked trout. Kids gut hook them, drop them in the dirt, out of the water for ever, don't wet their hands and lip the fish and THEY LIVE. All the trout in there LIVE after all that shit happening to them. It's pure proof that you can mishandle a trout and it will live just fine. An old wives tale is the only evidence those people have.
