Crazy weather for sure. Ben, from The Hollar Homestead, mentioned having their first frost about a week prior to mine here in Southern VT (Whitingham); they're in NC! Have you ever thought to grow Pawpaws? I'm at the early stage of researching what they do, and don't, want to determine whether or not to buy a few saplings. Best!

That is crazy! I have thought about Pawpaws. I think I zone 5 is right on the line of being able to grow them. I would like to find a place for them where they will be sheltered for the first several years. Thank you for the reminder as I will think more about where I may be able to plant some.
