Fall Guys Season 5 Just Got DELAYED...

Season 5 / SS5 of Fall Guys has just been delayed, just a few weeks before it was originally meant to release on the 22nd of August 2023. This delay is official and pretty much 100% confirmed by Fall Guys posting a video of Fame Pass 4 with a Final Fantasy x Fall Guys collab, calling it the "Warriors of Light Fame Pass", arriving on the 22nd of August 2023, seemingly in replacement of SS5. I have the new SS5 release date, why Fall Guys Season 5 got delayed, and what we might be able to expect in SS5 - both from leaks, predictions, and some stuff that was partially confirmed.

I'll still get it although I don't know anything about FF XIV where these characters are from. I do like the look of a few of them. A possible delay sucks but then dropping another pass would keep me busy since I tend to be active enough to finish them each time right before they head out. All these rumored things coming is gonna be something to look out for, especially a ranked mode just to see how it would be handled. I'd wanna see that survival mode creative update but who knows, maybe they'll drop it during this pass since they updated with the new toys to do a few of those co op maps which were fun.

They have no reason for this to be yet another 5-month season. We have no evidence that theyre working on something BIG like in LS6 or SS3. Just adding new modes/themes to creative shouldnt have 5 months to add especially as we have evidence that they were alreayd being worked on LONG before ss4 launch

FFXIV fan here: 1) Yes, there are new emotes, the trailer shows two that are specifically FFXIV references 2) FFXIV is not the new FF, it's an MMO and has been going for over a decade, you're thinking of FFXVI, easy mix up with the roman numerals though 3) as an FFXIV lover, it's a real bummer to watch the entire fall guys community's reaction be depression about it being season 4 rather than anyone being excited about the crossover, especially since they also announced fall guys content for FFXIV during the same presentation

Final Fantasy 14 player here. It’s all based on Final Fantasy here. There’s the twins Alphanaud (Blue) and Alisae (Red). Fat Chocobo (Bird) Goobbue (Monster) Namazu (Fish) Dragoon (Armor) And White Mage (Cloak) The emotes shown are /Lali-ho which is a dwarvern greeting and /hildy which is the flexing one and that has a lot of explaining but long story short it’s a gentlemanly pose. 14 isn’t entirely new as it’s basically 10 years old. It’s an MMORPG and one of the top ones to boot. I should also mention that this crossover is going both ways. You guys are getting costumes while we are getting an entire fall guys themed course in our Gold Saucer (minigame theme park). I honestly kinda feel for you guys pain with the delays and everything. I hope Season 5 comes sooner rather than later for you all.

I think Fall Guys is acting sneaky here because their not marketing this new fame pass to be fame pass four, but an event fame pass, kind of like a collab event that you can do while waiting for the new season to come out, because technically it's not fame pass 4. I dont think it necessarily is confirmed that this is a season 4 fame pass, just because it uses the season four logo and levels in the trailer. Obviously they wouldnt just leak SS5 in a fame pass trailer, its completely possible that this is the first fame pass in SS5, but since its all collabs they wanted to show it off early. Two possible ways for redemption A. This is the first fame pass in SS5 (regardless of whether its called 1 or 4) B. The fame pass has been completely decoupled from the seasons (however this does not mean fame pass items will not be related to the current season) I guess well see when the new client update comes out and whether or not the passes items are put into the game

I dont think this is a fame pass for season 4. Fortnite sometimes had mini battle passes for collabs. (For example, the Dragon Ball collab that happened in Chapter 3 Season 3, or the Star Wars collab that happened in Chapter 4, Season 1?) That may be whats going on here. The Final Fantasy Collab is just a side fame pass, not Fame Pass #4, or Fame Pass #1 for SS5

'Im going to do Fame Pass 3 and I think that's it for me forever for Fall Guys... Ever since Mediatonic works with Epic, the enjoyment that this game gave to me dove down significantly. - The game is boring because of Vaulting. If they would unvault maps during Seasons it would be less problematic. Plus it's just a pathetic excuse that they need to fix them... - The game is free, yet I've paid money for costumes... (The free costumes are just pathetic... I loved the fact that the amount of time and patience with the game rewarded you with costumes... not the state of your bank account). - Ever since it's free, there are more ... possibly toddlers playing it who are just chewing on their keyboard or console, because it doesn't look like that they are actually playing the game as you're supposed to (Reason I avoid Team Games with random people). - The tool the development team provided for the players to create maps is lackluster and got almost 0 updates. The theme of the last season is boring. I don't like that 80% of the playable maps are only Race Rounds now... - Why don't they add new map variations to the previous maps anymore? SS2 did that with many of the existing maps and it was brilliant and when SS3 came out they didn't leave them in the game? Why? ... Also SS3 had maps with slides... They have the ability to just add or change a few obstacles in them... They seriously need a rewamp, because every player is taking the same routes. - I would love if the dev team would think of In-Game punishments for players leaving Team Games. Like "You can't enter this match for 15-30 minutes because you left before the end of the game" I'm sorry, but the dum-dum people/toddlers would at least maybe realize that "Hm... maybe I should not leave them in an unfair situation." It's sad, but all the fun this game gave me is gone now... I'm literally doing my daily task and I leave. There is nothing that could motivate me to stay... Only if they would Unvault all the maps which is... chuckles not gonna happen because of Epic. Same thing happened with the Sims Franchise... A greedy, profit-oriented company just dumbed it down...

Those ducky Bois are called chocobos and I'm going to be biased as I love final fantasy but you should definitely check it out at some point. Some of the best games and stories of all time originate from this series and its amazing that FF are finally beginning to collab with new partners

Then the show selector was ruined, challenges were ruined, customs were ruined, etc. AND it didn't help that they were re-using events, only doing ONE weekly show, filling the shops with the same bundles over and over, and I don't see how the game can recover now. It's very rare that I find someone who agrees with me as half the people in the community still insist that "it's the best season cuz of creative" 💀

The creative rounds in solo show are basic and kinda trash. Good thing its not avalible in duos or squads. The creative finals actually suck. The Weekly challenges are worse, we've only gotten 3 events this season, and those 3 events are again, hexathon reskins. I don't like what they did to the show selector, only 1 ltm a week?! And they only used 1 of the 3 osts they made for offical rounds in solos! Most of the things I said here were all things i noticed during WEEK 1 of SS4. This season has a lot of problems, but people look over all those things because, "creative is so cool! definitly makes this the best season of fall guys!"

@@Willosophy13 The season is called "Creative Construction," more like constructing their path to failure. They've said that all maps from now on will be built with creative. That's the reason the game will crash and burn. You can't use a downgraded source for players! That ruins the game!. It's like if Mojang made Minecraft updates with fanmade mods. I do blame Mediatonic for this decision, I also blame a lot of the community for it too. SS3 had little maps, and only few were good, barely any updates, and was sooo long, that players wanted so much more. And got mad, demanded creative, better maps, better fame passes, (I actually though last season's pass was better than all of this season) and most saying that it was the worst season ever. Then Mediatonic gave them their stupid dream. Creative, which was good, then 20 MAPS AT LAUNCH and 3 FAME PASSES. All influenced by creative. There were like 37 maps in solos at the end of ss3, there were 57 at the beginning of ss4. How many new maps were added? 20! Yes they unvaulted stuff but when you have the same amount of regular maps, almost completely overtaken by boring creative maps, with few good ones. It was worse than ss3. With 20 new maps, and only like 3 or 4 good ones, and then 5 new maps, with like 1 or 2 good ones. That's getting 2 good maps and 3 new bad ones. But here, its like 3 new good ones and 17 NEW BAD ONES POISONING THE SHOW SELECTOR. I haven't used creative since the season started, just haven't had motivation, and I don't have Twitter, or "X", I don't have Reddit or stuff like that, so I rely on creative videos, and even then I don't find it fun, or easy every time you fail. They failed basically almost everything in this season. I mean the Pac man collab was incredible, but other than that, there is nothing. It is even worse that legacy s2. Which I was NOT expecting. sorry for the essay lol

It's interesting coming from mainly a FFXIV pov and hearing about delays in Fall Guys in this vid, because we were supposed to get a new mini-game for a while now, but it kept getting delayed 😂 Now we getting it when the next patch comes on Oct 21-2 (depending on your time zone) and I'm so hype it's Fall Guys.
