Headcannon (the people who worked on the sonic 3 and knuckles portion of the game) did a great job in the time they had, But the rest of the games (Sonic 1, 2 and CD) were just ports of the mobile versions of the games but with the drop dash from mania (it doesn’t even work properly,) also some music is missing from Sonic 3 & Knuckles. the only thing good about this collection is having the game in widescreen and having incredible fully animated cutscenes. If you want to play the classics I suggest getting Sonic 1 forever, Sonic 2 absolute and Sonic 3 A.I.R, these are fan mods of the originals and they are WAY better than origins. T.L.D.R. Don’t by origins it’s not great, Or do I guess, you spend your money the way you want. If you couldn’t tell, I’m a huge sonic nerd so a lot of this info you may not care about but, I just thought you should know this if you want to play the classic games.
