wow! all that beautiful footage and chill music nearly put me to sleep! you were channeling Kraig Adams in this one.

Wow what a kind compliment!! I love watching Kraig Adams, so it means so much that you would say that about my content. This was a fun day, and the colors only made it better.

Good to see you back in the 51st state! And it looks like you arrived at the perfect moment. Those are some of the best fall colors I've seen. I especially like the yellow-and-red spotted maple leaves. I've always thought that the water at Tahquamenon looks like root beer, haha. It was really flowing on that day. Thanks for bringing back a little piece of my home state. I needed that today. And man, I can't wait for your Pictured Rocks video! That trail is on my bucket list for sure.

Thanks so much for watching and to hear it brought some light into your day! It’s crazy how much of a connection I have with the UP now simply by traveling and exploring there the past three October’s. There’s something intangible about that place, an invisible energy that just brings out all the feelings awhile I’m there. Love that place, it deserves to be the 51st state! And I hope the other two videos can showcase the beauty just as well! Thanks for staying tuned in!

@@BluegrassBackcountry I know what you mean. It has a wild, remote, still-relatively-unknown feeling to it. Combine that with my nostalgia for childhood camping trips, and I just can't get enough of it. I could talk about it for hours, haha. Oh, and since I remember hearing Lord Huron in some of your videos, did you know that they filmed a music video at Tahquamenon Falls? It's for the song "She Lit a Fire."

You are so right!! I hope we get the chance sometime over a hike or hangout to share stories of our ramblings in the UP! No way??! I had no idea LH did that! I’m gonna have to look that video up, that makes me love that band even more! Thanks for letting me know!

@@BluegrassBackcountry No problem! I couldn't believe it when I saw the falls in that video. We really do need to meet up for a hike. I'm about to head out on one myself, but when I get back I'll shoot you an email and we can start to plan something.
