Not a thriller reader. Watching you and your dad do things together brings back memories of my dad and I. Before he passed we bought matching cars. He drove us all over southern Louisiana test driving until we settled on a car. Then we found the dealership and he went with me for moral support and let me make the entire deal. He would then say “how much if we buy two of them?” He would tell me he was so proud of me and I cherish those memories so much. Make the memories, Tara. It’s all you will have at some point.

So glad your mom is doing well after surgery! Recovery can feel like it’s taking forever so I totally get why she thinks it’s going slowly but she’s doing great. Also I personally loved the painting behind the champagne glasses so maybe get another painting and go for it! My favorite thriller/horror, that’s also classic literature, is Bram Stoker’s Dracula. It’s a little slow at first but once it gets going, it’s SO GOOD!!

The soup looks good BUT watching you cook for awhile now I’ve seen you use more seasonings :) like black pepper, onion powder, salt, it seems like it should have chicken or something hearty, maybe a little more Veg❤❤❤❤❤ But I really really appreciate you sharing the soup!😊 It’s flippin 93* (degrees) here in TX uugggg we want chilli, soups cuz it’s Oct 11th & being grown n raised in Alaska it’s supposed to be cool and soup time 😊

You should make the little sticker ghosts and press them onto that photo that you were trying to place on the kitchen shelf and make it a ghost scene, I love doing that to my photos seasonally and you can just feel the sticker paper back off when Halloween is over!

Tara The soup looked amazing!! Try and see if you can get a canning funnel. It will fit perfectly on those jars it will make it so much easier for you to pour it. You could place the jar in the sink when pour that way the mess is easier for you to clean. Much love Michele

THRILLER : oooh Tough Call. That is one ofmy fave Genre. I am going to kick it wayyy old school and say that Frankenstein holds up to this day. The book is quite different from the movies and the second half of the book is Adam having sworn revenge on Victor and chasing him down.

You can freeze soup. Let it cool after cooking to room temp. Divide into individual servings. I use ziploc bags and lay them flat to save freezer room. They will keep for 3 months in the freezer. To eat, defrost in fridge overnight, or cook from frozen.

The Lost Colony by Irina Shapiro is my current longstanding favorite thriller. The book had me hooked until the very end. Tears were shed. I read this book a couple of years ago and it still hasn't been topped. I highly recommend it.

I most recently read "Daisy Darker" by one of my faves - Alice Feeney. It takes place the night before/ the morning of Nana's birthday, which is 10/31. It's like a messed up family and Clue/Final Destination. Also, I agree with the covers for Magnolia Parks. I was able to score all 5 UK covers at a decent price. I won't even read the kindle version because they have that new cover I'm just not a fan of!

The “guy” was to whiny and annoying and the storyline kind of was predictable except the “cheating” part. That part i was like wtf lol But I am planning to read “wrong place, wrong time”. All the Good People by Ashley Flowers- SUPERB!!!! None of This Is True by Lisa Jewell- Brit based thriller...I bit all my nails off. The Dr. Evan Wilding series by Barbara Nickless, Augusta Hawke by G.M. Maillet, and Kristen Bird books. I think you'd like Girls of Summer by Katie Bishop. Greek Island vacay glory days turned mishap that haunted all involved. Great reading pace. Alaina Urquhart has a book series that is brutal, but scrummy. Yes, a few of these authors are podcasters. I like to listen to true crime. 🤷‍♀️ Happy reading, ma'am! I'm currently working on #23-25 books (yes, 3 books. I listen to one, read one on my kindle, and read another physical book- all different genres😂) on this year's reading challenge. I set my goal at 20.🎉 Most I've ever read any year.
