Books - I think you would LOVE Beneath a Scarlet Sky. It is non-fiction(ish) - mostly a true story with some embellishments, but an amazing story. Bras - Brooks makes the best high impact sports bra I've ever had. It's not cute, but it does its job!!

As someone who's pretty picky about my sports bras for running, a couple of tips: - Try them on in-store if you can. Don't just put them on, do jumping jacks in them. - Especially for hotter-weather running, look for ventilation holes/mesh in the under-boob area. This makes a difference on really hot days. - I like straps where you can change if they're an H-back or X-back. The X-back generally offers you more security and transfers some of the weight onto your shoulders/back which can be more comfortable for running, while an H-back will tend to be more comfortable when lounging/not running. - Molded cups are way better for larger boobs. Sports bras that work through sheer compression might be fine for walking, but either don't offer enough support or leave you suffocating while running. - Sports bras in particular can stretch out over time. Get a bra that's a bit small for you but fits you on the larger hooks so you can use it for longer. That said, my favorite bras are from Brooks and Under Armour.

Unpopular book recommendation: Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton (it is a trilogy). I picked it up at my cousin's wedding cause he was giving books as wedding favors and after I read it I had to buy the other 2 books to finish the series. It is brilliant. It's similar vibes to Red Queen which I also loved.

Ironically reading Malibu rising right now! I’ve been on a Taylor Jenkins read kick too. I really liked the first half of the book. I’m finding the second half not as good to me. I think since it’s all about the party and then talks about all these different people that don’t really care about. It’s just less interesting to me, but I do like the book as a whole. Probably 4 stars when I’m done

Have you read The In-Between? It has been one of my favorite reads of the year. It is nonfiction and quite heavy because it is stories from a hospice nurse. I learned a lot and loved the compassionate and caring voice of the author (also she shares stories on Tik Tok and seems like such an amazing person)
