I love love love the faux shutter with the simple greenery in the metal bucket. I think the candle wax technique you used came out beautifully. I also liked the last project with the simple tool box & the fall florals. -Sarah

Everything turned out great as usual! My favorite was the shutter. And also the very first one the basket I have something similar to that . I painted at a mouse green color and tried to distress it. It looks horrible… Lol thought about redoing it, but had no idea what to do with it even if I did paint it and liked it. I have never tried the candle wax. Definitely want to do that repainted, and the idea of filling it out with little pumpkins is perfect !! 😊

Sorry, my messages are so hard to read I use speakerphone I’m always doing some thing and in a rush and never check before I send… Lol Can’t wait to see your next projects! So glad I found your channel looking up scrap wood. I love the fact that you use tools. Don’t know if you remember or not but my husband also is a woodworker, so I have all of my own tools, and tons of wood ! I don’t know about your hubby, but mine works 24 seven and is never home long enough to show me how to do anything!

@tiffanysmith2255 yes! The packing tape method with the wax works just as well and helps to create that chippy look. Yes, I do remember ☺️ We built a shop for my husband on our property so he gets to work at home until he has to do an install but definitely works 24/7! I try to use as many tools myself but I have not tried the table saw yet ..... one day!

I love the last project but when you said something bout black coming off I was already thinking it looked like it was in a fire or a smoked out room. That may have been smut I wonder did it have any odor at all?

It definitely felt like that but it didn't have any odor to it. It was very weird but once I sealed it, all was good!
