@Mexymillion Thanks! You're correct, we played back the song at twice the speed on set and shot at 50fps then conformed to 25fps to get perfect slow motion in sync with the original song.

@manyourcoolchris This was graded with FCP. Lenses in this video are the canon 24-105mm and a canon 50mm 1.8

Great video and love the song! Looks really professional! May I ask how you did slowmo in this video, while the music is still normal? The only thing I can think of is to sing this twice the speed, record it with 60fps and then convert it to 30fps. Or am I totally wrong?

Hey this is great and professional. I've always wanted to create some music videos but always had a couple questions. For example, during the shoot, how can you match the audio exactly to the actual recording? How does the artist know how to match the recording on set? And also does the artist sing the whole song per take and you choose which make it to the video in post? Thanks, keep it up man. I am inspired here.

@BeanpoleProductions Very nice! I have just bought the canon 550d so I will give it a try as well. When I have made something I will let you know. ;)

@rubent100 Thank you. To ensure the song is performed in time, you play back the actual recording on set which the artist plays along to.

@BeanpoleProductions Thanks buddy, i'm such a beavis. I have a Hip hop music video coming up and i have no idea what to do lol. How many locations would you advise to use? Also, i presume a lens like a 17-55 would be enough for the entire shoot?
@BeanpoleProductions14 жыл бұрын
@kailorien Thanks so much! Yeah it's a pretty sick song, he doesn't yet have a CD out, although he should!

@rubent100 No probs. You can use as many locations as you want, there's no rules, just whatever you think will work and make it interesting. With lenses, it depends on what sort of shots you have in mind, but yes, a 17-55mm would be fine. Good luck!
