Hi Anita, Thank you so much for your sweet comment! It somehow happened that 2024 seems to be the year of knitting dresses for me. So far, I have made two dresses for my nieces (toddler age). Then the Hilja dress that I am currently knitting for myself. And I also cast on one dress for my daughter (age 10). And in addition, I am definitely also going to cast on the Nutiden/mohair dress for myself very soon. 😊

The blanket on your couch is stunning! I love your color choices too. Could you share the pattern please? Thanks!❤

Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 The blanket pattern is a free crochet pattern called "Granny Stripe Blanket" from Lucy / Attic 24. You can find it here: attic24.typepad.com/weblog/granny-stripe-blanket.html I share more about my version of the blanket in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZjdcoWIaq2Ijbc

It is a happy day when I see a new video from you, Annika! I have long wanted to pick two similar color from Holst Garn to produce a marled fabric. Your dress with two Coast blues is so lovely, I might try it this winter.

Thank you so much for your sweet comment, it really made my day! 🙃 Since filming this video, I made some good progress on the Hilja dress in the Holst garn. You will see more of it in next week‘s video. 😊 I love how the colors are looking together and Holst has such a large variety of colorways to choose from. I am already considering making another version of the dress in a different color combination.

I love your choices! I’ve been tempted to make a dress, or skirt, but I’m not sure I want to commit to such a long term project. I have added quite a few of these patterns into my “Favorites.” Thank you!

Thank you so much for your lovely comment! 😊 It is definitely true that a dress takes time to knit and also requires more yarn. But there are different options you can consider if you don‘t want it to take forever to knit. You can choose a short sleeved and mini length dress. Or you could look for a pattern with a larger gauge/ thicker yarn.

Just found your podcast Annika and it was very enjoyable. Just wanted to say that 10 cm = 4 inches.
@AnnikaScheer4 ай бұрын
Hi Sharon, thank you so much for your kind words! 😊❤ I don't know what I was thinking with the gauge, that's why I put the disclaimer in the beginning. I must have confused it with the conversion rate between cm and inches... 🙈
