thanks for the video on campfire curriculum. In the past we've done fall/thanksgiving themed units and they've been beautiful and so good but they've been geared more towards preschool so I'm excited to check this one out for my older kiddos.

I just made my first purchase with Campfire Curriculum last week. I couldn’t decide which Thanksgiving one to buy for quite a while, ended up with the Giving Thanks unit. We also grabbed the camping one ☺️. Still have the feeling I should grab the newer Thanksgiving one though 😬😬.

I panicked last night realizing I didn't plan in time for Thanksgiving. We are in Canada and our Thanksgiving is on October 10th so like 6 days away!! 🤦‍♀️ Last night I hopped on CC site and ordered the give thanks unit, we started it this morning and have already learned so much! Because the lessons in this one are short and sweet, we can do multiple each morning and be done before the weekend! We love these unit studies, and mostly incorporate them into morning basket. Grateful for these resources and your channel! 🧡

I went over to check out Campfire after you shared about them with the Titanic curriculum and immediately was like yes! Bought both Thanksgiving curricula and can’t wait to start. We are pausing the Constitution course from TGATB to do this but it works out great since the Constitution course isn’t a full year. Hoping to do the same with a Christmas themed curriculum from Campfire also. Thank you SO much for sharing about this company. Love this video! Also, as a former reading specialist, picture books at all ages are so important. I LOVE seeing that you have that in your morning basket. Thanks for sharing! I’m going to have to research this. It would be amazing if their units worked as a solid core curriculum (with addition of math). I have a 3rd, 2nd, PreK, and toddler and the toddler does not allow for much quiet learning time!

They do! With the core connections, you can cover all the subjects within the unit, outside of math. ☺️

This curriculum sounds so interesting! Honestly I’m not sure about how much I would go into the ‘dark side’ of thanksgiving with my kids though. It’s so tricky to know how to handle these complex issues isn’t it? I love that you still include picture books. My eldest who is 10 still adores picture books so I always make sure to include lots around the holidays. Those basset hound ones look so cute! 🐾
