And that’s why I prefer to still use Invincible’s until I get Victory’s. Much better as front line battleships than Venator’s, which I always reserve for use as fleet carriers which is their reason for existence IMO

Carrack Crusiers have 2 of the Venator’s main cannons. They are very powerful for their size, and can one shot most subsystems which can be very useful when grouped up

I think a really cool mechanic would be if the longer Delta was stationed on a planet, the stronger the local civilian militia would become. Commandos were supposed to be good at training guerrilla rebellions afterall

similar to you getting the free ion cannon, in AOTR I got a tier 1 black sun base by taking a plane ti had just lost from them. I belive the way it works is that you keep any building in the build que of a planet you capture.

I know I’m late but you should really think about getting a wolf pack or 2 of carracks and Arquitens to use hit and run or attack run tactics with, for example have them in a normal fleet and jump in your “real” fleet first then jump the pack in behind or to the far side of the enemy and pick off any stragglers or weakened ships

A LAAT Troop transport plane thingy and two units of clone comandos and you can do a lot more with that then regular clones. And with the LAAT as support you can do a lot more.

Nice doing the Invincible-Class Dreadnought Heavy Cruiser wolfpack strategy. With Venator-Classes for support and Acclamator-Class Assault Cruisers for added armament or complement should suffice any fleet. However, watch out for the Bulwarks-I and IIs. Also, don't put the Jedi in battle, they are only in starfighters.

so honestly shack use the shield peneatration submod its in lore that that ability exists no matter what the people in the empire at war expanded discord believe and its a submod made by coreys team so it shouldnt have any conflicts if it does thats just another bug that needs to get fixes so its a win win

Also damn I love these intros and the story being crafted, but I can't help but be consistently disappointed by the AI. It just doesn't seem to even have the most basic grasp of how to utilize its forces remotely well, no disrepsect to cory and the team but I guess I'm just spoiled from awakening of the rebellion. I think shack has had like...2, maybe more battles that were actually close to challenging? (Our hero clone saving the entire planet comes to mind) It also seems like the AI doesn't know how to use the buildpad system on capture points to get little bases for free troops which would go miles in making them have actual staying power in combat. So it just feels like a big buff to the player getting infinite free forces to bulldoze the enemy.

It's Especially frustrating when he critiques "weird" gameplay mechanics which are clearly explained by the devs in the tool tips (ie. Governance or influence)

Also weird isn’t even rude, look at everything on the workshop. In comparison to everything else FOTR and Thrawn’s Revenge are strange. What other mod adds influence instead of the easier planetary reward units.

There's plenty of opportunity to discuss with the devs or self educate. Often he's just flat out wrong or misclicking on something. Or sending a unit to its death then blaming it being "nerfed" a classic example is how he's talked about the arquitens as being underpowered all campaign. Listen I love shack but my original point is he's sounding a lil whiney and ungrateful. I don't think I deserve to be told "not to watch" if you don't agree with my opinion

I’ll admit Shack knows Jack shit about this mod, though he is kind of busy making his living by making content based on other people’s work. He is also commentating and managing his stream witch to us probably looks easy as hell but it ain’t it’s very distracting.
