i mean, besides the fact this logic is shit; i've lived in the same county all my life which happens to be one of the most wealthiest in the country yet i've been homeless multiple times- if they weren't broke why didnt they have a foot in the door instead of going through the motions of your average DIY band? living in a van they almost died in, living off PB&JS, sharing instruments, taking years before being able to record an LP, i guess they just chose to suffer lmfao
