All I'm saying is if they make a music video this is how it should go: The kid in the album cover (with no face paint) starts in the hotel in the morning (the band is playing on the roof of the same hotel). throughout the video he passes by NYC landmarks (Times square, statue of liberty, central park, brooklyn bridge, with one member at each landmark playing) with each landmark he gets a clue telling him where to go next in riddle form. With each landmark he reaches, the face paint is on his face more and more and it gets later in the day. by the time the song gets to "hold oooooooonnnn" towards the end, he reaches Ground Zero. When he gets there there is a package and a staff attached to it. he opoens the package. its a blackout version of the american flag. He starts waving it high and proud. The band is seen behind him playing on the sidewalk of ground zero. The screen snaps to black right before the final vocals (kind of like the end of viva la vida) it shows each member (first joe, then pete, then andy, last is patrick) with the facepaint on. then it ends with the title card "American Beauty/American Psycho" THE END

This is definitely my favorite song on the record. It gives me goosebumps in an eerie way. And, it sounds the "most like Fall Out Boy" out of all the songs, in my opinion. The only thing I have to say is that the "ohhs" remind me of Let's Kill Tonight by Panic! and also the breakdown/groove/production is almost identical to Miss Jackson! It's not a bad thing, though. But, that aside... This song has succeeded at being stuck in my head.

I just turned 13 and so what I can't help my age.. Yes, I love their music and own all of their albums- the physical copies, and on iTunes. My dad actually used to listen to their old stuff before their break. So I basically grew up listening them. But for the people that just started listening them and say that they're "true fans" that's a different story. I know who they were and who they used to be. Bands change. They are trying to stay current and want more people to start listening to them as well.

To me this song is a precursor to their next album and the direction they will be going with it. References to the twin skeletons from the Believer Never Die album and the promises are made if you just hold on make me think that's a shout out to the fans.
