Love these planters, SO beautiful on your porch! I live on a street that has Victorian homes with beautiful front porches. 20 yrs ago it was considered one of the most beautiful areas of our city, people would park all down the side streets and come in DROVES to trick or treat as we all decorated beautifully and the 100's yr old maple trees were beautiful and massive. People would ask to take pictures of their children on our porches. Fast forward to today: Hardly any people care about beauty, just bounty, from subdivisions. People on our street have stopped decorating like we did yrs ago because we don't get the trick or treaters we did in the past. I still always decorate, but I'm saddened that this has happened. Things change, sometimes not for the better, but oh well. Thank you for another inspiring video Christopher!

Thanks Edie! We actually don't get many trick or treaters either - maybe two or three, but I still decorate because I love it & remember getting excited as a kid when we drove by houses decorated for the holidays/seasons :)

Same here. Our neighborhood used to be beautiful but now I am the only one on the street who decorated for seasons and holidays. People do not care about their property anymore

We hardly get anyone on Halloween, even though we're on a fairly busy street. But I myself, love the fall and Halloween so I always decorate my porch and steps with flowers, pumpkins, and a few other bits of fun decor. It makes me happy and I think it does for other passers-by as well.🎃🍁🍂

I have the same vintage umbrella that is across from your staircase and so many other items you have. Your style and loves are so much akin to mine it’s amazing. My husband and I both love antiques and anything vintage and are hopeful one day to build our forever home which will be a Concrete Block home due to living in Florida and our hurricanes but it will most assuredly not look like a new square box. Your talent is shown throughout your home and your love for your home evident in each beautiful touch. Your home is so reflective of beauty and grace. I saw so many of my most cherished things and you reminded me why I love them so much. The memories of how I came to acquire each one is what makes each of them so special to us. Chris are the urns that you planted metal or plastic. I have an open porch. During the fall and winter we can get heavy winds storms here in Michigan. I’ve tried to weigh the plastic urns down (that I have) with stones but I don’t think the urns were big enough to stay upright during those wind storms. I would love to have some metal or concrete urns that are within my price range to keep on my porch. Any suggestions? Love your Chanel by the way. Carolynn

Hi Carolynn, these planters are plastic. I've had good luck with plastic planters over the years & have had many of the same ones for over 10 years. If the urns are a light plastic or are small & cannot hold enough soil/rocks to keep them upright, you could try purchasing larger planters. These ones are sizable compared to others and have room enough for rocks in the bottom and a good amount of soil to keep them in place. I unfortunately don't have any suggestions as to where to get metal or concrete urn planters as I have always purchased plastic ones, but you could look online & read reviews if that is what you are wanting for your home :)

Tell me those final vids and pics are from last fall. Here in Seacoast NH we are not yet experiencing leaf drop. Actually gardens are lush and at their peak of late summer glory. I LOVE that you are prepared for fall because NOW is when it is the best time to purchase and plan for fall decor. I will wait a week or two before either emptying my planter pots to change over to fall or put them away until next year. I want to soak up EVERY moment of late summer possible. Successive heat waves kept this grandmother indoors for too much of the summer, the last one being an entire WEEK. It goes by too quickly!!
