Thank you so much for this video. I loved the tree before I saw this set-up, getting into the detail really has helped me make up my mind. It so reminded me of my trip to Austria and Vienna for the Christmas markets. Real trees were everywhere that looked just like this.

Christopher I absolutely love all of your videos. I lost my husband of 42 years suddenly to cancer in January of 2023. It was a very difficult time in my life but your videos brought me a lot of joy and helped me adjust to my new life without him. Your talents are endless. Thank you for all of the great decorating ideas and keep your videos coming. I hope you and Tim are doing well. And your Gramma and brother as well. Best regards.

whre did u get the mouse in the dress paper hangy thing from ?
@ChristopherHiedeman16 күн бұрын
Hello! The witch mouse holding the taper candle paper decoration seen in the background is something I cooked up in an art generator program. I spent a few hours figuring out the exact wording & prompts to get the vintage inspired image I was hoping for, and eventually, there was the cute mouse! I touched up the image some as the original had a little more of a worn/scratched look, but left some of the distressed look to the image to give it an aged, vintage look. Then I printed the image and cut it out with my paper cutting machine, raised the image on a black cardstock border with foam paper pieces, & added a black tinsel string for hanging. Currently, I have some of them available under the shop tab of my website, along with other items - some with vintage style imagery like this one, & others with vintage reproduction images. Here's a link to my online shop that you are welcome to check out if you like :) www.christopherhiedeman.com/shop

Hi Irene! "Beatrix Percival Halloween Edition" is a story about a young woman that discovers she is a witch. It has some light romantic themes to it and is a magical action/adventure story that I would say falls into the YA category. "Helga The Witch" is a Halloween story poem suitable for small children - it is not really scary at all, has watercolor illustrations, & shares a Halloween tradition idea (setting out a witch hat full of treats). "Mildrid The Mouse's Halloween Adventure" could be for small or older children & features a longer and slightly more complex storyline compared to "Helga The Witch". It is a little spooky - but in a mysterious fun way - nothing too scary. It also subtly shares a Halloween tradition idea (pressing a fall leaf in a book each Halloween season). "Thomas" is a romantic drama ghost story & has strong romantic themes making it more suitable for more mature readers. And though it wasn't in the video, "The Little Book With A Big Voice" is a book full of sentimental heartwarming short stories with various life lessons that I believe are suitable for most all ages. It is an uplifting & inspirational book that touches on a variety of life topics like aging, loneliness, forgiveness, being yourself, & more. I hope this was helpful! :)

Hi Christopher! You have collected quite a menagerie of Halloween items! (Love them all)! Your artistic eye pointed out details that I didn't pick up on my first glimpse! However, your own DIY creations were exceptionally creative and beautiful as the one you bought! I love the composed/curated base ones and the glass dome. It suits my limited decorating skills...I can place them on an entry table, etc. and call it a day!LoL! Enjoyed the video and excited to see it all come together! Hugs!
