I love the scents in the house, but just passing on some wisdom some firefighters told me about the plug-ins. They said they respond to a lot of fires because of them, so I only use my plugs ins when I'm home and awake :)

They say not to add oil to your pasta while cooking because it will keep the pasta from absorbing the sauce.Does it help to add it after the pasta has been cooked?

I think your living room curtains would be beautiful just hanging not pulled and knotted, I don’t like that look, I think curtains make a space look homey!

Im so glad Blanca made it! Poor baby. You are such a good mama to your kids & pets. Please know that raccoons always come back to recheck to see if there is a weak spot. Secure it very strongly because they are quite persistent. You could also put an alarm around the perimeter & turn it on at night.

Two couches were fine when you didn't have your formal dining table in the room. But with the table in there, two couches were too much. Looks fabulous now! Much better definition between the living and dining spaces. A very cozy & inviting arrangement. Front porch is gorgeous! I'm in SoCal and I can't wait for this 90 degree weather to just go away so I can immerse myself in whatever Fall season we get. So glad Blanca is doing well.

Hi Lauren! Love the front porch and the living room looks so cozy this way. What a difference just a few changes made! I am so sorry about Blanca, and glad she is okay, the poor thing. I just made sauce today with roma, cherry and big boy tomatoes from the garden, so delicious! I served over angel hair pasta with a dollop of fresh ricotta and fresh basil and parsley. Everything came out beautiful! Love the LR minus one couch, I think you achieved that more formal look you were going for. The couch faces the FP, there are two chairs across and there is space between your dining table. I am now in the mood for pasta. Thank you! She is much better but you can tell she is still very traumatized. I will add her to my next video... poor baby, the raccoon took out all her tail feathers and she is pretty beat up BUT she is doing ok and very happy to be alive.

You should try and put the couch where the fireplace is against the wall, put the fireplace against the shutters, or in another spot in the living room or a bedroom. Looks great! Love it❤
