Loved the music change toward the end with the pretty fall trees, and you marching off to read King, lol! I've read two of his books so far (Lisey's Story and The Dark Half). He's an amazing storyteller, and I definitely want to read more of his books.

I know Abigail says she gets her mugs from Target, but I never such gorgeous ones there 😢 Stephen King is one of my favorites! And I agree, the book doesn't need to be scary. He's just so good!

I recently bought Salem’s Lot as my first Stephen King book. I’m a bit scared but also excited because everyone says he’s such a good writer.

That's one of his early books. Duma Key is my favorite. Try a few! King gets more about the characters later on

I’m a total scaredy cat, so have never read any Stephen King. But it seems that this might be a reasonable ‘starter’ book? Maybe… if my library has a copy… or I might go reread Anne Rice instead. Interview with a Vampire was the first book I ever stayed up through the night to read, and then had to sleep with the light on because it freaked me out so much. So a question - is Christine more or less scary than Interview with a Vampire?

I think it's less scary. A car isn't going to come into your room at night, whereas a vampire...who knows?
