As someone who has parents and in-laws who are hoarders and as one who has had a lot of loss from aunts and uncles, I will state, don't leave your kids things that they probably won't want. They will be their own people with their own interests and personalities. Use what you love and when it is done serving you, donate it. I will definitely do estate sales for them and then get rid of the rest. I am stressed just thinking about it now (my parents are almost 80 to explain why I am in this place of thought). I have watched my cousins go through such a hard time cleaning out their parents' houses after they go. Looks like a cool time in Salem. It would be fun to go there one day.
