I love Micah as Grandpa’s cooking buddy!Warms my heart. As soon as my granddaughter could sit next to me in my kitchen we started “The Krislyn and Grandma’s Cooking Show”.We faced the brick wall sitting at the island cooking. We pretended we had an audience just like Rachel Ray.As she and my grandson Christopher turned 9or so,he spoke up and said,”I want on the show!(he was so serious)😂He then became my baking partner.🥰They are now 14 and 15 and have a real gift in both areas. And they still come over to do our show.😍❣️🙌🏼🙌🏼

I have a Pumkpin Dump Cake that calls for almost the exact same filling recipe. It is delicious. PUMPKIN DUMP CAKE 1 spice, yellow, white or butter pecan cake mix. We prefer the spice cake but they all are good. 15 oz can pumpkin 2 eggs 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1/4 cup brown sugar 1.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice 1 stick cubed butter Grease a 9x13 pan. In a bowl mix the pumpkin, eggs, milk, sugar And pumpkin pie spice. Pour into the pan. Sprinkle the dry cake mix on top the filling. Top with the cubed butter. Bake at 375 for 45 to 55 minutes. You can add 1 cup of chopped nuts but add them half way thru the cooking. Otherwise they get too brown and are bitter. Serve warm.
