I do the tournaments more to meet new people than to compete. "Competition" sucks the fun out of it for me, because I put too much pressure on myself to do well, but it gives me a reason to go.

Were you at the 2 rivers area? I.e. mouth of lemonweir? I fished it in the evening on the Saturday of the tournament and it was blown out everywhere I went LOL
