Today I am here with celebrity stylist and wardrobe specialist Allison Bornstein who has helped me put together a bunch of fall and winter looks!

Allison describes these looks and the pieces that go with them as a capsule collection, and most likely these are pieces that you already have in your closet. Allison really helps break these outfits down piece by piece and teaches us how to integrate various pieces and transform them into different looks.

Allison also breaks down dressing in what she calls “bases.” The first base is the first thing you put on before you style it up. And for me that always means jeans and a tee. A different base, what she calls base two, would be something like a trouser or a bodysuit.

Dressing is really such an extension of your personal style and personality and I think it is so much fun to play that up and mix and match different pieces. Thankfully Allison worked around what I love most in terms of colors and textures and it was so much fun to work with her on this!
