Fallen Officer Escorted Through Boise By Police Procession

A police procession escorts Ada County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Tobin Bolter from the Ada County Coroner’s Office to a funeral home in Boise, Sunday, April 21, 2024. Bolter was shot during a traffic stop Saturday night. Law enforcement agencies from throughout the Treasure Valley joined in the procession that began on Curtis Road.

In the line of fire, saving a child being a hero or just losing sight of a lost person everyday takes a toll. My heart goes out to each and every one of you today suffering a loss of a brother or sister. In line of fire. We must come to some kind of common good with each other because this isn't working. The loads we all carry everyday good or bad is a heavy burden. We must come to some kind of agreement. It is heartbreaking to lose a loved one. A brother, a sister, a mother of father.
