I love having a peek at peoples gardens as you go by...like the 2 folks made from flower pots, sitting on a bench. and just down from that a bathtub full of plants. Not quite as many houses on this stretch. Glad you didn't damage your boat , I think I would be more likely to crash into the side of a lock as you aim for the middle. I guess you have great depth perception. With that much boat ahead, my aim would be off by a whole lot. Thanks for sharing, have a Blessed day.

Those various different bridges are an attraction on the canals. And on another aspect of the canals, I like how the canals vary from being out in the middle of nowhere, to passing by or through rural hamlets and burgs, to passing through suburbs, to diving right in to city centers. Yes, roads do those things, but a road experience is not a canal experience, which is more akin to a walking experience than the experience of passing by at multiple times running speed while encapsulated in a partially glass-walled sealed environment.

My view is that as long as you end the cruise with the chimney above the waterline not too much went wrong.

I enjoy your channel. It would make it easier for people like me, if you told us who your friends are. Like, who is filming, and who is riding with you, and who is this Andrew that you are in a caravan with? From what I have seen, people like videos more when there is a team of people, or several different personalities they can keep up with. Even introducing the dogs more! I look forward to more. :-)

You might still be getting used to the size of Slievenamon but that manoeuvre around the fallen tree seemed faultless. Did you have to report the tree to the CRT?

in various parts of this video why show it in a faster speed it as ruined the video as we are not seeing the natural speed of the passing scenery
