Sound breathing although in need of rework, is still very strong and can easily still slam a Moon or Sun user, but I do not enjoy using it that much.

Sound swords do 9 dmg… per sword hit so 18 which is double of kamado katana or flesh nichirin and highest in game

According to the lore the reason why Thunder breathing is called Thunder breathing is because every single time they use a thunder breathing move it creates a sonic boom but Tangen does it every time he swings his sword which is what all those little explosions represent

I feel like if they rework sound it will probably be very similar to rouge demon and project slayers sound breathing cuz that just seems to be what demonslayer games do for sound breathing these days. Also for the first time that I am aware of project slayers actually did something better than demonfall and that is stone breathing. It actually looks like stone breathing and has actual names not just stone- ‘insert word here’

Sound breathing is derived from thunder breathing but they made it slow and tengen is the fastest hashira and he made this breathing for himself for fast and accurate moments which matches his speed.

The reason the sun breather was dying so much is because when you use sun breathing without kamado clan every sun breathing move does damage to you.
