this thing on 4:46 is the goat. totally need it for bevelopment. may be even prelude worthy watching without sound so idk if it's gonna make it to prelude

it's a third party crate (bevy-butler). I don't know of any plans to include it in bevy.

excited for the directional ui navigation, i was looking for it just last week ^~^ i still wanna learn to port bevy_ineffable into 0.15 tho, i like that extension but i'm not skilled enough to just dig and know what to do when i have my time divided to other things irl :c

Not used butler, and I don't know if it's a good idea in a larger project. Also where it's a macro it could hurt compile times. Besides that I really like how it changes the syntax and brings the important system config to the system itself.

I think that with all these derive macros that are already in bevy it won't change much

Hey, This is a really minor nitpick: I think it would be better if you place the "This Week In Bevy" at the start of the title. The video appears in my subs feed with the title cropped and it makes it harder to know it's a This week in Bevy video when I just see "Fallible commands, Directional Ui..."

do you use an extension that replaces the thumbnail?
@basaringaron13 күн бұрын
@@chrisbiscardi No, you make a good point, but I don't look at the thumbnail when trying to figure out what the video is about. I had not even noticed that the thumbnail says this week in bevy :P
