I dont blame them though, because they used to mutilate women and still do. Africa in general needs a cutural cleansing from those primitive customs. The culture is toxic. I head two Nigerian man say, it is the woman who needs to make sure the marriage lasts and strives. Nonesense. The man is the head. He's the one who needs to make sure his wife and children are happy. They should lose their hostility, macho, chauvinistic, and arrogant attitude, and be gentle and sweet to their wives. If a man is loving and attentive to his wife, he does not need to ask her to love and respect him. Many African women are not exposes to true love, so they cannot encourage another woman on what true love his. Shouting, working long hours and leaving your wife home, and ignoring your wife's emotional needs is risky. My dear, I've watched enough African movies, and known too many African men who lost their wives because of the lack of affection. Money, and things are not everthing. I dont love my husband because of what he can give me. I dont need someone to rescue me, I need somebody who loves me, and show that he cares for me emotionally.

the husband should have communicated his reasosn for working late etc. this husband assumed that thus was all his wife needed. he should have talked to her first. he must have a low sex drive to ignore an attractive wife and be away for long periods at a time. the wife is intelligent and independent, she should have had her own businness and commitmenrtts as well to challenge her. a woman is not just a housewife, maybe she needed to be doing more, there appeared to be no children . its unfortunate the wife decided to sleep with the driver which realy put him in an awkward position. this was not fair as she abused her powers. the driver appears destined to be ruled by woman rather than his concious. i believe b4 you enter into marriage that both parties communicate their expectations from the marriage.
