I love your honesty, I’m a chronic illness sufferer myself and I have so many bad days. I try to fake it to make, but it doesn’t always work. I even watch my grandbabies twice a week and when I can’t I feel absolutely. Like I’m letting everyone down. They say they understand but you tell they don’t. Keep up your hard work try your best not to give into the depression. I have faith in you Becky❤❤❤❤

Things you could track to compare against your mood: your caffeine consumption, exercise, self care, whether you went outside, if you socialised, or screen time

I know for me my mood fluctuates with that time of the month a lot. Sometimes my mental health will tank with a trigger be it with what someone says or does and it takes a long time to work myself through it. Love you lady and love your channel. ❤

If you don't feel instant love, put it down. Plan for you because that is your magic, I, myself , handle being overwhelmed by shutting down and doing nothing, maybe that's why your struggling.

I find after a lull in mood, I find myself wanting to change because I think it'll prevent the low mood. I also found myself wanting to change systems around my cycle. I think it was a type of nesting desire almost but it affected planning systems or how my furniture is arranged. Just something to keep in mind as possibly the cause for your dissatisfaction right now and desire to change things up. I actually started tracking when I was happy vs wanting to change things up and that's when I realized it was connected and a cycle itself. I found if I ignored the need for change, I felt settled shortly after whereas changing made it worse after.

The thing I've found that helps me is that I don't change my lineup at all for the year. I have an A5 Cousin, a Weeks, and a Stalogy of some size. The Stalogy is somewhat unnecessary, but I love the flexibility of it and I do whatever in it. I resist the pull of all the other planners I see (not always easy). The money is much better spent on beautiful stickers. That's what works for me. I have no interest in the CP for my own reasons. I'm team Cousin, baby. 😉

I always enjoy watching your channel, the struggle is real with the planners. It's wonderful to have such a choice of planners now even compared with 10 years ago. I always last about 6 months too. I have a Hobonichi Tech for my personal page a day diary. The rest change throughout the year!

I forget which video I was watching, but the woman was saying how her therapist told her to make an accomplishment list of the things she did, instead of a to-do list. That way, it's more positive instead of getting down about what didn't get done. I started doing that, and I see you do also. I do keep a running to-do list separate so I don't forget what I need to do. But I'm doing much better with accomplishments. Even if all I had energy for was coffee and TV shows, if I write it down, I know I did something besides feel bad. Nice video. Take care of you.

No real changes for me in my planner line up. This year I've been changing up my EDC that I carry to work to try different sizes and just play in some different planners. But the planning setup is pretty much the same in all of them. And my overall system is the same as it was in January. Sometimes as a KZbinr it can be hard to see other channels grow at a different rate because they use certain planners but I just use what works for me because my planner being functional is most important - and I also know you can find inspiration from others regardless of what size/brand planner they use. So I just use what I love or what works for me. I saw focus on what brings you joy and what works for you. And focus on the stuff you need first. The extra stuff you want to do can be added in or compliment it.

I track my mood, sleep and pain level in graph form to see what, if any corilation, exists between say: higher pain and less seep and a depressed mood are something that tracks and shows in the graph. I get very little sleep and have a cronic degenerative ain condition that sometimes has resulted in hospitalizations due to complications. This would obviously effect my mood in a negative manner. That's an extreme example but maybe tou could track pain with the other two to see if the sleep and mood effect your pain levels. Hope this helps.

Just wondering, you might have said, but why did you go away from Stalogy? I’ve been consistently using the Stalogy for 8 weeks lol which is very long for me. I use a Stalogy a5 cut down to standard/tn. I agree, don’t plan for KZbin, plan for you. That’s what helps people the most (I think) is showing what actually helps you plan. Either way, love your channel!!
@Whoopsididitagainco3 ай бұрын
Hey hun, I don’t think I’ve actually ever said but the reason I don’t use Stalogy anymore is because they don’t do the standard size and I wanted a crisp Planner every time I cut mine down it was never perfect and so many other companies were bringing out standard size.

I completely understand where you are coming from with the cousin. I have really been struggling with using it this year and have only used maybe 1/4 of the daily pages because I just don't always feel like writing every day or feel I have something WORTH writing about every day. So I've only been noting significant events in the dailies but I feel like I'm wasting so much paper as far as the days I'm not filling in. I already have memories and ephemera logged into the cousin so I don't want to trash it. I'm just powering through at this point but I think next year I may just do something like plannermonkeyco's notebook where you have the blank monthlies in the beginning and then blank pages afterwards where I can just write about those significant events/memories without having a dated day per page. Don't know if that makes sense.

Hey Bec can I just give you some advice regarding the Range Rover 😮 Ok Ive had one my ex husband has one and my Daughter in law has one. Obviously Im in Australia and my Daughter In Law is in the US - we have all had very bad experiences with them mechanically mine although only a couple of years old I had to trade in on my current BMW because the Timing Chain was about to go and it was way to young for that car to have that trouble I had spent over 15K on just general maintenance on it and my Ex he has been trying for over 6 months to sell his no one in Aus want them because they cost way too much to repair and they do have a lot of inherent dramas. My Daughter in law in the US has similar issues every time she goes to get a service it is the magic $1000 or more nothing but drama - sorry to say my current partner is a Boat and Car reseller and he always said stay well away from them they have so many mechanical issues. Sorry to burst your bubble but I really wish I had been told this prior to buying it because if I am honest it was one of the most comfortable beautiful cars to drive - I have had lots of BMW’s , Audi’s Lexus and other luxury cars and the Range Rover is on the top of the list for comfort but the absolute bottom for mechanical 😢 hope you dont mind me saying this 😅
@Whoopsididitagainco3 ай бұрын
I dont mind you saying at all hun. I really appreciate it. I’m just stuck between my heart and my head. I’ve always wanted one. It’s always been my dream car but always out of my reach. Now I may have the opportunity and no matter how many other cars I sit in it just doesn’t beat the Range Rover sport. I think I need to get it out my system. They sell really easy over here in the UK so I know if it goes to shit I definitely will be able to sell it. Especially the one I want as it’s the most sought after. Thanks so much for your advice though. I’m probably going to be messaging you on insta saying what have I done it’s broke already lol x
@mrsfoxezplans-akatonifox13153 ай бұрын
@@Whoopsididitagainco I agree I wonder if you could maybe hire one but if I’m honest they are bloody beautyful cars and I think they are actually made in the UK so you guys might not have the issues we face getting parts etc so it may be a mute point for you. It was my holy grail too but I’m now into small cute cars cuz it’s only me so my little one series BMW is my Black Betty (that’s her name) and I love her 🤣

My personal opinion is that you should not introduce any new planners. You will feel better using up what you’ve already started. Sometimes, having too many options is the thing that makes the task insurmountable. Think about what you need and scale back to that. Need, not want. Need to function on a daily. Alternatively, and this is probably going to be an unpopular opinion, if you want to plan for KZbin, then make it a business commitment and think of it as more of a transaction, and less of something you do to keep you going functionally. I hope you feel better.

If you’re anything like me the biggest factor of your mood is where you are in your cycle. I tank every month after day 14 all the way through my cycle and then I have two productive weeks after it ends and the whole thing starts over again. I’m 41 and I think perimenopausal hormones are a bitch!

@@Whoopsididitagainco it was a super huge eye opener for me realizing that it was like clockwork when I go down and come back up. So frustrating, but also makes me feel better knowing that there is a reason that I’m low and it’s kind of out of my control. If anything it was helped me give myself a bit more grace and made me mindful to not try and expect a days worth of tasks to get done during that time. I schedule in more rest time during those weeks and it has really helped me not feel so “bad” about myself.

Why are you torturing yourself? It seems like you need max two planners. You know what you like but you are testing things that you know won’t work for you. You said it yourself. Planning for KZbin not yourself and you aren’t in a planning season. So memory keep and symptom journal with a few to dos for the week. We all love you. Stop stressing. Enjoy your time with your kids and put pictures fucking everywhere if you want. Stop over complicating things.
@iamaud3 ай бұрын
I also LOVE the idea of memory planning. But for anxiety purposes I also loosely forward plan. Then at the end of the day or the week, I go back and fill in some things we did or add in some pictures. I can't handle more than one planner, so it all goes in one place. 🩷
