What a fun flip! I love how you use a variety of things to make it uniquely yours. Thanks for sharing your planner - while I like seeing pretty planners as much as anyone else, I really appreciate seeing functional planners that show interesting ways they’re being used, and yours checks off both boxes for me. I, too, have just made the switch from a TN to a discbound notebook for many of the same reasons that you did, as well as some sneaky perfectionism that was holding me back from brainstorming in the TN booklets; the removable pages totally eliminated that roadblock for me.

Love the video. I love all the planners and journals too. Strings, rings, discs, and bound! I just want to mention that I have a similar punch and love it. The locking mechanism works when you squeeze the handle and then lock it. It makes it compact for storing. ❤ Love your video as always Robin and I am getting ready to start my health journey and know you will get back to a good place with your journey as well. It ebbs and flows.

I too over complicate EVERYTHING along with over thinking!! Love hearing you talk about this, much of it I can relate to. Rings have always been my side piece but never my full time gig, I just feel nervous to dive in which is so silly. Smart to save one, I have sold 2 planners I deeply regret selling. Great video 🙂

I notice you tend to go back to rings after you dabble with other setups. The best part about rings or disc is the flexibility and customization you can do. Love all the decorative inserts that personally mean something for you. To me planning should not just be functional but also enjoyable. If something doesn’t work change it up. I’m trying to decide if I want to continue in the a6 Hobonichi avec of jump into some rings.

Today as I write. I posted my standard size covers on the BST groups. I went down the infamous rabbit hole. I found a personal or pocket size fit into my current lifestyle. I'm a homebody as well, and early retired. I had everything and the kitchen sink in my standard, heavy brick that can used for self defense 😂. I need to STOP! My life shouldn't be surrounded by my planner. I was creating random lists just to create something, however it doesn't burn calories 😅 . My life should and will be simpler and less filledby the consumerism mentality that took over in that rabbit hole!! I'm in recovery with you!❤❤❤❤❤

I can’t believe it but I really needed this video right now and I do love Nessie from Nessies plans. Like I think we all do I have several chronic health shit going on I have fibromyalgia and CRPS so living with chronic pain constantly my journaling and planning and my you tube channel are my outlets. But that being said I’m in a planner funk and about to travel from Australia to Pennsylvania for a month to visit my son and grandson. And I’m fighting with what planners to take and I want a change in my edc because my books are not working so I’ve shouted myself for my up coming 60th birthday the CP Petite and I love rings but I love A6 size so it’s my sweet spot and being able to switch out the inserts to suit my life appeals to me I find personal a bit too narrow. So I’m going to be doing a video showing my thought process. Thx for the inspiration again Robin 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Hi Robin, I also noticed that you have a Moterm personal rings in your Amazon shop. Are you happy with yours? Did you have a problem with the rings matching up? I really want to get a Malden but the price is so high and this will be my first time using a personal ring planner. I have an A5 Filofax and love it but obviously it’s too big to take along in my purse.
@talksfromtheheart8 ай бұрын
I’ve never had issues with any moterm that I’ve ordered and I’ve had personal, a6 and pocket. If you’re not sure of the size look up the inserts and cut paper for samples. Maybe you might like even a smaller size. Or go to peanuts planner co freebies and print sizes out there. The moterm are great!
