I'm so amused by the fact that Ohuhu is no longer considered the cheapest alcohol marker brand because it was a main contender that caused the upset of Copic's almost-monopoly on the brush tip marker market. also im SO inspired by your art- making me want to go to a museum real badly xD

@pikarar I try but I use marker a lot and the markers have like big tips and it expands a bit, but if it’s colored pencils then yes, it’s easier to color and it’s honestly smoother in my opinion. I have a question also, you might’ve asked abt it but what marker brand do you use and why is it your favorite? If you don’t have an answer that’s okay!

The sticky note trick is so smort. I have a stack of them I didn't know what to do with too. I've just been covering up the bleed through with lots of stickers loll.

@ Yes!! The bullet and chisel nib set was the first set of ohuhu I ever had! When the brush set came out, I immediately bought a set and fell in love! The brush nib has the perfect amount of resistance and also softness!

I really like thinking of using markers like paint. I’ve been using alcohol markers since 2019 and haven’t considered that till now. A different, but really cool way to use alcohol markers is drawing patterns and adding swatches of different colors into the base color to add really cool textures (it takes advantage of the transparency and layering of the medium).

@ kind of, I usually lay down a color like a skin tone and then add a few colors and patterns into that base color to create a fun and interesting texture :)
