People really don't know about the FIR songs that sound like this. Every time I hear this band come up in conversation they always bring up the popular, more accessible songs, and rightfully so. But people always forget how tight of a band FIR was on these first couple of records. Ronnie didn't hire no scrubs. This band could play their instruments, and ronnie could write hooks for both heavy and more accessible music.

andrew ehalt Agreed. Ronnie doesn't deserve all the credit he gets. I want to go to a concert to get a chant for Jacky. Those solos are always so killer. It's always fucking about Ronnie. Fuck Ronnie, Jacky! Jacky! Jacky!!!
@8BITBASKIN9 жыл бұрын
andrew ehalt Ronnie has close to no talent compared to Jacky. His vocal range is exactly the same as 8 years ago, which was nothing to speak of in the first place since he can't hit a high note or hold a note to save his life. The only reason Ronnie really gets hailed is he knows how to write lyrics from time to time, hold a melody, and can squeak every word he sings. Even his screams and growls have always been a little lackluster. I'd put him slightly above Andy Biersack, whose range is somehow even flatter.
@pizzahut101939 жыл бұрын
Saw them when they played a set of dying is your latest fashion before fir. Ronnie was really good. Great endurance. Nailed a lot of high notes. Screams/growls better than the record (live setting helps them sound good). But jacky takes the cake. Ronnie gets so much attention because of the drama that surrounds him 24/7. And their fanbase doesn't exactly help the situation. Sucks for jacky.

omg the solo...dragonforce...i can now die in peace
@djscrapp1811 жыл бұрын
DragonForce uses a type of delay that makes it sound like its alot of notes but its really not. They can play like a motha but not like the solos they have up. Jacky uses a technique called Economy picking. Which is alternative picking and sweeping together. This is why Jacky is my favorite Guitarist of all time. Ffor all those guitarist's out there, look up United Stringdom Jacky Vincent. They have a few videos up of Jacky showing you how to Economy pick, Sweeping arpeggios, and NeoClassical melodic melodies. NeoClassical is my favorite. :)
@djscrapp189 жыл бұрын
no not really the reason he is my favorite guitarist is because of the heart that he plays with. The soul, his technique is great. But if you dont have the heart for the music then i dont believe you are a true musician.

I think personally a lot of people are too distracted with Ronnie's past to even realize that they have some truly amazing music that has great meaning... Of course there are songs like alone but if you haven't realized ronnie has a certain type of humor and a lot of the time he puts it in his music so people don't have to hear such serious things about his past all the time... Try to look past the bad things and look for the good it makes a lot easier

Divine Lotly I play guitar, I'm not as good as Jacky, yet. But how would you know what I could ever do in my life? What's wrong with posting hateful comments? In a world as corrupt as this, I think hate is necessary. Plus, as musicians, shouldn't their best interest be to improve? How could they ever improve if people didn't give them their honest opinion whether it be negative or positive? If this band got rid of Ronnie Radke, they would be sooooooooo much fucking betterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Thats coming from an early Escape The Fate fan, I used to adore and look up to Ronnie. But his lyrics are just.. Bleh. They're kinda immature. And his music is just lame, like it was written for 12 year old girls, honestly. HOWEVER THAT IS MY OPINION SO DON'T GET ALL UPSET, IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY THEN GO RIGHT AHEAD, I'M ALL EARS.

In the 7th grade, I was in class one day and the teacher assigned me to use my phone as a timer. In the middle of her teaching a very boring lesson, My timer went off and all everyone heard was "DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. IT WILL NEEEVER WOOORK." It fit so perfectly and but she wasn't to fond of it lol
