Its extremely hard to quantify return on capex of AI. its like trying to project return on the internet in dollar terms.

Well to be fair the context is the revenues of the Mag 7. So it's very easy to quantify (how much $ are they collecting for their AI products/services they sell).

This logic is crazy. Telecom capex does not have a 2-3 payback. Nor do railroads or roads or any other kind of infrastructure. Where is this arbitrary rule that it has to be paid back in 2-3 years?

I still can't believe people are complaining "where's the payback! AI is bunk!" AI is like a baby that was born a few hours ago. It's still in the hospital nursery waiting for clearance to go home with its parents.... A little patience maybe?
