Wes, the floor looks really nice. You always have such a vision and can see things that most or at least myself can't picture the end result. I'm going to say i have gotten use to seeing your videos again, and like always, can't wait for the next one. Good luck back at school. See you on the next video, and will be checking back in time to time for your next return home. Take care buddy. Tell little man, thumbs up. See you.

Thanks! Although I will say my wife has a lot to do with seeing how final projects will look. She's usually the one with the vision, at least for house stuff.

This is my first time seeing a flooring pattern like yours and I must say I really like it! Your children’s art work/time capsules are precious ❤. Brother, watching you work is very relaxing and enjoyable, and your love and patience that shows when you are passing on your skills to your son is a blessing to witness. Thank you for that. It was also so good to see ”Mr Thumbs up” back! 😊 The Lord bless you and keep you all ❤

Don't worry about the shrinkest of the wood because it will move forever. In summer they will shrink and winter they will expand. Since you have a subfloor that won't be a problem. When you coat the floor make sure you get good advise about what to use. Since some of the wood is soft and some hardwood you'll need a good protective finish. I'm impressed. God Bless.
@falllineridge3 күн бұрын
Thank you! But I think it'll shrink in winter and swell in summer. Minor gapping might be ok to give it some room to swell in the summer.

I’m interested to see how it turns out after sanding. All the different types of wood will surely sand differently depending on hardness. I would think that the floor would be uneven after sanding. Hopefully it turns out satisfactory for you and your family. Sure is a ton of work if it goes wrong especially.
