Great counsel. So many think those horses just take care of themselves. If their lots look green then that’s grass. Cheap is generally not better, best value for the dollar spent. We don’t have fancy trailers, good trailers though, good running trucks and really good horses. Enjoyed this vlog. Looking forward to seeing that new bundlenof joy❣️❣️Thanks again 💕🤗

As the granddaughter of a retired equine vet, this video was awesome. Really glad you broke down the money behind "I want a horse". I've seen it all from top notch breeding/show barns to a back yard horse in a pre-built shed from Lowe's. I've seen some conditions I wouldn't make a rat live in & I've seen barns I'd live in myself. They aren't cheap & deserve the best if you want a horse.

I know first hand the cost of keeping horses. Alot of people don't realize how much it costs to properly care for a horse. Even if you're not going to compete on the animal. I think that's why we see those horrific videos of starving and neglected horses. You can't throw a hot wire up and put a 5 gallon bucket of water in there and forget about them. Grass gets eaten water gets drank. Hooves grow, worms come. I could go on and on. Thank you Fallon for the video. I can't wait to see that little bambino!!! ❤️❤️❤️

GIRL YESSSSS!!! If you truly want it, big or small it can be done!!!! I have spent years saving and biilding up my dream farm for our horses, it has taken a lot of years so far and its still a work in progress but its been my dream since I was little ❣ Its all about perspective and how you look at things 🥰
@justsayin49842 жыл бұрын
Dang! I can't get passed the fact that you used to clean 53 stalls by yourself!! 😳 Lol. You are a beast Fallon! I've had horses my whole life and the last 13 yrs I have worked seasonally for a local tb (racers) owner/breeder/trainer. Having the right people working for you is huge. Honestly, most people are not cut out for it. A lot of people start out doing it because they love the pretty horses. Then they find out you don't just toss them some hay and maybe brush/braid their mane and call it a day. Most don't last very long once reality hits. ☺ Blesssing to you Fallon!

I am not a Barrel Racer. I tried it when I was young but I had a spill that I never got over. Howevwer..However... I loved to trail ride or ride drag herding cattle. I grew up on working and playing on my friends ranch in NW Florida. Hey had a western store, arena and a Rodeo Company. I dabbled a little bit of all of it. I started watching your Vlogs last week when I was sidelined with Covid. I already followed you on Facebook and Instagram, so discovering you on KZbin made my quarantine much more bearable. I love following you blogs, advice ,Baby Flo I've cried and laughed with you! Thank you

Please do a breeding and raising of a foal cost - I worked on a Standardbred Breeding Farm in the late 80s - we had up to 300 foals a year - then sold most of them as farm owned or agent for the owner - it's amazing what the $ amount is

Yes! So real and correct. Owning a ranch is a never ending money vampire with constant chores and maintenance. We love it, but the amount time, thought, energy, and money that goes into all this is not something most people really understand. I have never hired help- but I am killing myself most days keeping up with all the daily chores- and I am NOT GETTING AS MANY RIDDEN as I should when I am doing all the other stuff.
@velvet.snakes39312 жыл бұрын
I never realized what it would be like to actually do all this, I plan on become a farrier when I get older so I'm able to have a good income that would also help me with my own horses, along with having my family helping me with my horses as my grandpa feed watch and have my horses at his place, I use his truck and trailer ect.
