even though it's fewer guesses and more ways to configure the guess, wordle is definitely easier than mastermind!! I played that as a kid too. wordles benefit is that it's not just nonsensical colors, it's actual words which helps tons!

I always start with ratio but arise is good too. Two common consonant and 3 vowels. I prefer ratio because of you don't hit a vowel or need a second one, it's usually e or you can just tell it's the u.
