I'm still watching Simone on the floor against Rebecca A. from Bezile in the finals. Simone smiled when she had a little hiccup on the floor. She smiled, "Did I do That?" Then she shrugged, "Did you see that?" I tripped, lol. Even Champions trip'. I'm still mesmerized by her talents. She gets Air like Mike, 4'8", and grabs 12.5ft air tumbling. "That was the first and only Worlds that I was an underdog" is such a flex! I wish more "4 year fans" would watch gymnastics year in and year out, it is so awesome. Watching this girl at 16 win her first national all around title and then go on to win her first World title in 2013 was fun. Watching her continue to dominate as she matured in 2014, 15, 16, 18, 19 20, 23, and 24 was insane! Yes, by ANY stretch of the imagination, she is the GOAT in a sport previously known for either very short careers; especially remaining dominant is so rare. 41 World and Olympic medals, 6 World all around golds, twice all around Olympic champion, and on and on........

I like how she says her success has been "more than my wildest dreams"; it's so wholesome. I know it's something we've all heard before, but we've kind of watched Simone grow up through her mid-teenage and early adult years just dominating gymnastics, like you said. We're so used to it, and I don't mind it at all. I really hope we see her at LA28, even if she takes a well-deserved break from the sport now and makes a comeback at 2027 Worlds.
