I have a friend who works in the entertainment media, and he says that hands-down, John Travolta is one of the nicest people in Hollywood. Every interviewer loves him. He's polite, charming and respectful.

hutch Except the male massage therapist who accused Travolta of groping him. Plus, he is a scientologist and we know scientology has ruined thousands of lives.
@hutch11976 жыл бұрын
Those accusations were just: that accusations. As far as Scientology, I agree with you on that, however, unlike Tom Cruise, he doesn't engage in any promotion of it or vicious attacks on its critics. Anyway, I was just pointing out that he at least seems to treat people nicely.

I keep hoping that someday he will hear the stories of the people who have been horribly victimized by Scientology especially the ones who went through it when they were children... I wish that he will see them talking about it and that he will reach out to these people and find out that it's true... He's so dedicated to them and it's a shame. His other home was in Florida not too far away from Clearwater but now I hear he sold that and is moving closer to the headquarters in Clearwater. People in that neighborhood hate dealing with having that organization and its crazy sycophantic workers there. I really hope John Travolta will learn the truth about what a monster David Miscavige is and that he will somehow distance himself from them

I would LOVE to meet John Travolta and just sit and talk with him for hours. I use to do filmmaking in college and students in my classes said they worked in Hollywood and one worked on set with John Travolta. And while the crew was strictly told NOT to talk to the actors, John made the effort to get to know most of the crew. And my classmate said he was the most respectful actor he had ever worked for. Very very polite and humble. And so talented.

I have never had the opportunity to meet him, but I assisted his wife, Kelly Preston on several occasions at my former job, and I can tell you that she was always genuinely so kind and thoughtful to me and our staff every single time she came in to our theatre in Florida. She even bought our management team a box of chocolates and sent a thank-you card for good service. An absolute angel with a heart of gold I can tell you. I wish them both all the happiness in the world.

This was incredibly wholesome to see. John Travolta has been ridiculed so much these days so to see him get so much love from a fan like Jimmy just put a smile on both Travolta's and my face. Travolta seems like a class act and I hope that soon Hollywood gives him that one big hit that brings him back to the spotlight because he is a truly talented man. I don't blame him for things like Gotti or The Fanatic, those are both examples of terrible direction.

Love John Travolta!!! His humbleness and yet his suave flare and all around talent. Seems like a great guy to work with and be around. Seems like he has learned from his long life of experiences and hardships to look towards the bright side of life and be grateful for the good times. Im glad Jimmy showed him such respect. I know a lot of others who don't cut him much slack because he is still a scientologist, but it's what he credits with getting him through the rough times. Whether the crap he went through in life was due to the scientology, or despite the scientology is up for debate. Whether his successes were due to or despite the scientology could also be up for debate. I think Scientology likes to take credit for all the positives and dismiss the negatives as nothing to do with them, just outer circomstances beyond their control. But the second it goes well for a celebrity scientologist, they are quick to put the spotlight on them and remind people he is a scientologist. Regardless, though, he has been through some rough spots, losing his son, for example. So if his faith can bring him a sense of inner reconciliation, or peace with himself, it is probably a good thing for him. Maybe some day he will take a look at the abuses others have brought up about scientology, but for now he is not. It's good to see him coming back to his roots of Brooklyn, though! I'm sure Brooklyn would also like to take credit for his successes. We are such a fickle nation.

One of my favorite John Travolta movies is Love Song For Bobby Long. If you get a chance, watch it. John is a brilliant actor and this film is one of the ways he proves it.
