Besides their actual drawing ability, one thing EVERYONE on this show is terrible at: picking up the non-verbal cues from the drawer. If you're close to the correct answer, they'll respond accordingly. But if you're way off, there's no point in going down that mental path. For example, when Nick Jonas is drawing, Jimmy immediately rules out the word "train." But then he starts guessing things like "sleeping car," "sleeping train," etc. There's a scene in When Harry Met Sally when the characters are playing Pictionary. Jess (Bruno Kirby) guesses "ape" and Sally (Meg Ryan) dismisses it. Then someone correctly gets the word "baby," but Jess is still guessing ape-related phrases. To which Harry says, "Planet of the Apes? She just said it's a baby. How about Planet of the Dopes?" Anyway, that scene captured this game better than anything I've ever seen.
