@carsonnesbit117811 ай бұрын
Coming here really late to explain it. The enclave soldiers shoot the vault dwellers in that scene because they’re trigger happy, notice how one of the vault dwellers raises their hand to wave hello? When the vault dweller waves their hand, the enclave soldiers think it’s a weapon and open fire. They didn’t slaughter the entire vault, they just killed the first five then went on to capture the rest.
@diamondmetal30629 ай бұрын
It’s a misconception. The Enclave doesn’t actually do any recruiting, you have to be born into them. Their definition of “purity” isn’t how human you are, it’s how Enclave you are.
@sussinhardrn10488 ай бұрын
More of a scare tactic than anything, if I had to guess. Not that the vault dwellers could've resisted much in any case, but when you're a technology superior, politically fringe authoritarian junta, it's probably a habit to display your overwhelming force. Even then, considering that the Enclave used vault dwellers as experimentation livestock, they realistically would be doing those they killed a mercy.

We need the fallout games to be remade in the classic fallout 2 way but also fallout 1/2/3/NV remade in the same way 4 was (graphically speaking) with the full dialogue shown. Through in some extra stuff to flush out the world a little bit more, add some connections so call back ain’t just call backs but possible and or cheeky foreshadowing to some things that happened in the later games. Like Harkin saying the institute needs to get nuked off the face of the planet or Lyon talking about possible Candidate for a successor. Add the Outcast as a subdivision to the brotherhood to ensure they stay on mission. That kind of thing

They really do need to remake the first and second one into the 3D games we have now. It's understandable that the OG fans would want a remaster instead of a remake so the 2D game stays intact and everything about it, but realistically they'd sale far more if the games were made 3D as they are today. Not many people enjoy playing top-down/isometric 2D games compared to 3D. Bethesda doesn't need to be remaking these though, leave it to the modding community or another dev team which would allow Bethesda to continue making new games such as TESVI.

i feel like we have a very thin distribution of effort here, we got some people working on a mod remake of new vegas, 1, 2, and 3. Can we all just work together on these one at a time lol we might have a fully working 1 or 2 of them by now

I cant stress enough how a fully 3D remake of Fallout 2 would be amazing. In my opinion it could be the best in the series, if done right. Fallout 3 was my first Fallout, so I much prefer Fallout in its 3D form with a open world to explore than the isometric form. And that is pretty much the only reason why Fallout 2 isnt my top favorite.

My fav is 1 the first for me was 4 but when I downloaded that fallout with the eerie music simplicity it just felt magical

I think Frank Horrigan is one of the hardest RPG bossfights ever. EVERYTHING is stacked against you.

If Bethesda decided to remake fallout 1 and 2 in the fallout 3 style that would be awesome.

I think a remaster of the old game shoud be remade with the arquitectual principles that the newer fallouts use but still respecting the original layout What i mean is focusing a lot on the y axis and expanding the details of the original and making them be more realisticly functional Sadly i haven’t finished fallout 1 and haven’t started fallout 2 If not i would have proposed to do the project my self So i am 100% qualified for making a life action movie that is not even close to the original and make 99.99 % of the fan base hate it

honestly though i like fallout 4 i think the fallout 3/new vegas engine would work better with this project

Legion doesn’t fight the NCR on open ground unless it’s to take a critical location like Hoover Dam. It’s through ambushes and raiding, or “small war” that they win. Don’t need to kill the bear if you can’t do it in one stroke, just need to starve it, cut it off.

I love it, except one issue, too much "fallout 4-ness" you know power armour animations and fallout 4 turrets. But hey I'd be very much so down for this, although I'm extremely curious how one would go about putting the highwayman in fallout 4's engine. Either way fallout 2 is in my top 10 favourites so I'd play this even in an unfinished state just see places like new Reno, Navarro and San Francisco in 3d

I don't want Fallout remakes because I think Bethesda will automatically ruin it but videos like these lure me back into a false sense of hope.
